Yesterday I rode to Five Points to buy bread and once again encountered this great @PghDOMI intervention to narrow the city owned streets where they intersect with the state owned Wilkins Ave. This slows down turning cars, reduces crossing distances for peds and improving safety.

I stood at the intersection for years getting kids from the sch bus. So many close calls. Then the unimaginable happened to Em. More needs done!

@ItsAmyWhipple I am physically shaking! I have so many questions… are more kids facing adult sentences due to Shuman being closed? Are they doing trauma informed searches like when you change into a gown and so forth and they shake everything out or is this a squat and cough situation? 🤢

@rentaduckie @emilykmay I’m team muffins over here. Muffins with Loved Ones. I would happily show up for Donuts. You show up every time you can and my gosh if the kids make the treat and it’s rock hard or raw dough you sneak some Tums and pass them around and ask for seconds!

@emilykmay I love donuts with grown-ups. Donuts >>>muffins. Moms got cheated for years and now we have equality. Plus also, you know, it's more inclusive for the kids. Thats important too. But mostly I'm glad I get donuts. 😆

Current emotional stability: crying reading the features tag on Target’s Cat and Jack adaptive jeans, made for kids who use wheelchairs (it’s the diaper friendly that really got me)
