Post draft, I think the Chiefs should still sign Cam Jordan and one of the vet wide receivers like Jennings or Tyreek Not much line backer depth but this roster is deeper and more talented than last year

@MitchSchwartz71 95+% of draft boards are just parroting or heavily influenced by someone else's analysis/work. It's super lazy and increasingly uninteresting. Team/culture/need/scheme fit (and coaching competency) is a giant factor in predicting first contract success.

Going to weigh in on the consensus board chatter. The stubbornness of the people who push it away has many layers, and I’m sure I’m still missing some, but here’s a few: 1) Don’t care to learn how the board comes to be (aka a lot more qualified people who do this professionally and not casual fans) 2) Unwilling to listen to historical data of how reaches have fared relative to the consensus board (despite loving their own historical data of physical traits and shying away from outliers 🤷‍♂️) 3) The belief that they are better than “media” members at scouting and creating draft boards 4) The belief that the 32 NFL scouting staffs are all the best people in the world at this and if anyone else knew better they’d be hired 5) Anecdotal evidence of a team (or teams) that doesn’t use the consensus board 6) A fatigue of draft analysis and grading due to a team’s picks relative to the consensus board (plus positional value). I myself am pretty fatigued by draft analysis because I feel like we’re reaching a sameness of thought, even if it might be more right than the way we used to think. It just becomes boring when it’s the same stuff over and over with reaches, trade downs, and positional value What else am I missing?

@Farzin21 It'll be Hunt. Change resistance can be a powerful thing. The old broken-in shoe with the worn out sole is just more comfortable than the brand new pair you just purchased.

@Schultz_Report Getting steals = taking players who fell according to people that genuinely have no clue. That how most people judge a draft. "Consensus value" of 30th best prospect taken at # 55 automatically makes it a good pick. It's lazy and inaccurate.

Surprised the Chiefs did not take a right tackle (or any offensive linemen) for that matter. They must feel good about Simmons and Moore as starters with Pole and Morris as backups .. unless Pole is in consideration to compete for the starting RT spot.

Garrett Nussmeier was projected as THE NUMBER 1 OVERALL PLAYER one year ago. I just simply don’t understand how a guy’s stock could fall this much in 1 year. This is ridiculous. Somebody take him.
