@ryansmi10846149 🤷‍♂️ If it’s not for you, it’s not for you as I said before. Not gonna try to convince someone to like what they don’t. Just stating I don’t think it’s that complicated and it’s hard for me to see “boring” with a movie shot that amazing, with elite set pieces, and score

@Matty_KCSN The music in TDK is better imo. I think every thing is better in the dark knight. To me they are not in the same tier, not even close. I’d put every other one of Nolan’s films above Tenet, as I think Tenet is his weakest film.

@ryansmi10846149 Tbf, I don’t have it rates higher than TDK. They’re in the same tier and I’d probably give the edge to TDK cuz it is a better made story. I do think some of the action set pieces combined with score land even higher (both great) in Tenet tho.

@Matty_KCSN But how is it better than dark knight? The dark knight is better in every way IMO. Heath ledgers performance is better than all the tenet performances combined The plot in DK is more accessible and easier to follow Etc

@ryansmi10846149 Yeah if you don’t like it, you don’t like it and that’s cool. But the general plot/story isn’t that complex. Unfortunate you find it boring cuz it’s got top tier action sets, multiple awesome heists, and a mini-war scene in a 2 hour movie.

@Matty_KCSN Ehh I disagree as I just don’t understand the film and quite boring. And Batman begins is also much better than Tenet too.

@infopocalypse1 @severn58 It’s so much better than Inception because it doesn’t try too hard to be something more than what it is, imo. Every movie has holes/a suspense of belief for the world but what was so major that it ruined the film?

@ryansmi10846149 I don’t think it’s THAT confusing in the bigger picture, especially after you see the ending once. Are there details that take more focus/work to understand? Absolutely but none is required to “get” the movie, imo.

@Matty_KCSN Tenet is too high. One of the most confusing movies I have ever scene.

@PhoenixSmudge Re Interstellar; The “dilemma” or conflict just fell flat for me. Wasn’t that interesting for a movie centered around it. Add on some lulls/dragging parts and fine, not great performances.. not a bad movie but not something I am really drawn to revisit.

@Matty_KCSN Interstellar at B tier is a crime. The only one I haven't watched is Tenent. I've heard mixed things. You liked it?

@PhoenixSmudge Yeah, great film. Some don’t like it & if it’s not for you, it’s not for you. It’s not near as complicated as some make it out (once you get to the end the first time) to be & subsequent watches get even better. End of the day, it’s like a Bond film with unique time travel.

@jbbrisco Batman Begins is a great Batman/superhero movie. Could argue it’s the best pure superhero movie of the three. TDKR is fine to wrap up a great trilogy but on its own? Pretty meh

@Matty_KCSN Batman Begins being two tiers above TDKR is one of your most ball-knowing takes of all time. Great trilogy, but BB is underrated and TDKR is a little over.

@AlexBoyerKC @IAmJoeSummers It doesn’t work, imo, if you think you need to understand every single aspect to enjoy it. To me, it’s a Bond film with (a unique) time traveling element that is shot incredibly well with elite action sequences, score, and performances.

@IAmJoeSummers @Matty_KCSN It looks great. It is a cool concept on paper - but nothing works. I expect so much more from Nolan. I also think Dunkirk is overrated. The timeline gimmick doesn't feel necessary.

@severn58 If you don’t like it, you don’t like it. Not really trying to convince anyone to like a movie that can certainly be complicated to even watch. That said, I think the action is great, how it’s shot, the score, some of the performances.. phenomenal.

@_NAW10 Didn’t find Interstellar THAT interesting (for Nolan) tbh. Felt like there were themes explored to just explore them while not actually making me actually care about them. Also found it dragging on numerous occasions. TDKR wraps up a story but is pretty “blah” on its own.

@severn58 I don’t think you have to understand every aspect of it and those that simply go for the ride enjoy it WAY more than those that fight it and think they need to understand every part. BUT once you get see the end once and rewatch with that info, you get 98% of it easily.
