@_Unknown_D_ I think this is often overlooked because it doesn’t cause mass redundancies but over time the number of roles in the UK will reduce significantly in professional services. I’m not sure what the answer is to resolve this but it can’t be ignored.

@_Unknown_D_ I’ve worked in digital marketing for 12 years, up until five years ago off shore teams were unheard of but now they are very common. You can hire amazing people in India, Poland or South Africa who cost a fraction of what it would cost to have an employee in the UK.

‘If the business can’t pay a livable wage, it isn’t viable’ Ok the business will just offshore the role to India and pay 4 Indians the equivalent of what they would have paid the UK based staff member. Still viable.

@jmortimer87 I have only used IG as an alternative so I couldn’t give verified recommendations unfortunately. I can tell you that many people I know recommend ii.

Update on the situation. All looks to be resolved with full access available again. I have wrote to HL to find out more about what has happened and are funds actually safe with them going forward. I suspect we know the answer but I have enquired about possible compensation.

@BrettMendoza_ I’d imagine it would be a small fraction of the weekly wage bill. Really odd that club have proposed this move, seems like an obviously bad idea that’s almost guaranteed to get a bad reaction from fans.

An idea for the heritage wall. If the stock answer is the sea air is decaying the clay tiles. Why dont the club make a new one with better tiles, with all same messages as this one? Will prob cost about the same as weeks wages of starting XI and fans get to keep their memorial?

@jmortimer87 Hi there, the last service was the delayed 22.28 service departing at 22.47 There will be a night service between Brighton and Bedford serving London Blackfriars which will be your best option after this time. ^Kieran

@TLRailUK That makes sense. Can I ask what is being done to avoid this happening? Seems way too familiar for a service that charges £5K a year for an annual season ticket.

Hi James, this could be for a number of reasons - for example driving hours, or what they are booked to drive next. If the driver currently driving takes that to Brighton, we could have to cancel their next trains which could be more disruptive so when this happens we will look at alternative routes. ^Kieran

@TLRailUK I’m on the 21:24 to Brighton from Farringdon. The train is terminating at Three Bridges, apparently because of lack of staff. Trying understand this better, if there’s a driver driving the train why can’t they continue to Brighton?
