Is this someone with no experience of doing the job pre-LLMs existing? Someone skilled in implementing LLMs into workflows sensibly?

Starting to feel like 'chat' mode in Claude isn't a chat anymore.
What used to be the starting point for a back-and-forth chat (my favourite AI workflow mode) is now just Claude taking the starting point and spinning a wheel for 10 minutes and sending back detailed output

@constantout People are trying to one shot big asks, or Ralphie Wigguming it. I can't see how most folks are hitting limits like they report. I do not discount power users having multiple agents going though. It does add up. But I feel the reports are over blown for avg users

I feel like the whole Claude Clode limits drama is turning into a meme.
I’m on $100/mo Max and have never hit limits in 2 prompts.
How tf are people doing it?

@lydiahallie This is total nonsense because it implies behaviour change on the users end to suddenly hit limits 20x faster and that isn’t the case - certainly in my case.
Same pattern one day started costing 20x as much (usage)

We're aware people are hitting usage limits in Claude Code way faster than expected. Actively investigating, will share more when we have an update!

I just used 91% of this morning's claude session tokens on a prompt that ended with 'network error'.

One prompt - as part of a continuation of a chat so decent context tokens included as a caveat - but still, created a short-ish MD file + 3 SVGs. 70% session usage gone.
That would have been ~10% only a few days ago.

The way Claude usage is just shooting up in chunks - there's some predetermined amount being added on as soon as I prompt.
First prompt of session I hit 29% by the time I refreshed while it was thinking.
It asked a Q, I answered, immediately on 53%.

@Cunha__utd Antony. Definitely a player in there, the price tag was the issue and it magnified everything else. Confidence got shot and he’d fit neatly as an option for Carrick. Got a lot of time for Hojlund but I think it’s a matter of time before Sesko is starting week in week out
