@Venaaaaa011 The ideals part referred to having a partner/getting married, but I can see how I worded it vaguely. But Joon has said "boyfriend or girlfriend" in relation to bts' potential partners before, so I don't think it's a stretch to call it heteronormative when ppl say gf or wife only.

@jmtaecuddles With all due respect, when most members have only used heteronormative descriptors for what they seek in a partner, it’s not correct to say ideals/wishes are being forced upon them. Gendered terms have been used, we should respect their words and see them as is. It goes both ways

Not surprised but still disappointed to see 90% of the comments and quotes being heteronormative as hell, forcing their own wishes/ideals onto the tannies, and turning every small detail (brief eye contact, someone being silent for a sec) into a huge deal to fit those ideals

@vmxn__ Right?😭 it confused me so much, I thought I was reading the translations wrong for a sec. Any time the tannies open up about not dating atm/feeling societal pressures wrt marriage/friends having partners & kids, so many people take it as "bts are getting married and have kids!!"
