@cspotweet ‘these types of books’ would include most of the Greek Classics, English Lit, 90% of art books, poetry, the romances & humanities. Williams & the rest of the conservatives in Alberta may be taking it from an admin angle but it's still neurotic suppression of art & culture.

Minister Williams asked why he doesn't trust parents or librarians to manage these books. Says he trust parents when it comes to these types of books, and that's why the legislation will allow parents to provide permission if they deem so in individual cases.
