“Life moves on. Guilbeault is gone. What the writers of history make of Guilbeault will no doubt be debated. Not here. Not in a place victimized by this man’s stupid schemes. But at least the story has a happy ending. In Alberta, we’ll take the win.”

One of my favourite parts of the job is visiting with Albertans, answering questions, hearing different perspectives, and talking about the future we’re building together. Thank you to Christina Steed for organizing such a great group of neighbours and also to Ryan and Shauna Ockey for opening up your lovely home for coffee and conversation.

@FreeAlbertaRob It’s about catering to people who have something over your premier and UCPs head and 100% disregarding what the majority of Albertans want. So eat shit, loser and fuck off.

Excellent article by @dkennedyglans on what the October referendum is really about at its core. The eastern media and a few virtue signalling Premiers ought to take a careful read and adjust their counterproductive messaging. nationalpost.com/opinion/donna-…

I stand with Premier @ABDanielleSmith in defending Alberta’s interests, and in the October referendum I will be voting for Alberta to remain a proud province of Canada. Alberta deserves a strong voice, fair treatment, and leaders willing to fight for the province. It is possible to support Alberta and advocate for respect from Ottawa, while still believing in a united country. #Alberta #Canada #UnitedCanada #ProudlyAlbertan #ProudlyCanadian #AbPoli #CdnPoli

Organized crime has no place in Alberta. Our government is investing nearly $8 million to help law enforcement crack down on gangs, extortion and criminal networks threatening Alberta families, businesses and communities. This funding will give police agencies across the province stronger investigative tools, better coordination and more resources to target organized crime wherever it operates. To the criminals targeting Alberta communities: we are coming after you. To the business owners and families being intimidated or threatened: Alberta stands with you. I will say this every year....splurging and putting in central air is the best money I have ever spent and fully worth a bit of higher power bill during the summer. #yeg #heatwave

The West has always punched above its weight and if we want to reach our full potential, we need to think bigger and build together. It was an honour to host Canada’s Western Premiers in beautiful Kananaskis. We won’t agree on every issue, but we all understand that a strong, prosperous West matters to the future of this country.

@Social_Moi @TELUS I have internet 75 and with promotion I pay 65 a month. My contract ends next year but I’ll shopping around before it ends. You literally have to threaten to cancel services to even get a decent discount or price. We are so limited to our options which sucks.

It’s disappointing to hear how offensive it is for media, lefties and even some conservatives to have our Premier use direct democracy to ask Albertans for direction on a controversial issue that has meaningful implications for the province and country. I’ve never understood the idea that leaders should fear hearing from the people and should even go so far as to take away the ability of our citizens to be heard at all on an issue that hundreds of thousands signed a petition to have a vote on under Alberta law. Have faith in Albertans. We are a passionate but practical people. We’ll weigh the pros and cons and make an informed and thoughtful decision together…and then we’ll move forward.

I was pleased to host my western premier colleagues in Kananaskis for a roundtable with Indigenous entrepreneurs and business partners ahead of the Western Premiers Conference. We discussed how Indigenous communities are stepping up as owners, investors, and partners in every sector - including energy development and tourism. I was especially glad my colleagues could learn more about the Alberta Indigenous Opportunities Corporation, which has helped secure major investments including a $1.2 billion Indigenous investment in energy infrastructure in the Athabasca region.
