Leave it to @AmericanAir to close the gate for a flight 20 minutes before departure time instead of 15 and then have agents who don’t even bother to help customers. Terrible airline with terrible customer service.

I really hope @RepLuna does not cave to Speaker Johnson’s “compromise” regarding proxy voting for new parents in Congress. Newborns deserve to have both parents at such critical early age. Thats family values.

@InformedCit98 @RepLuna @SpeakerJohnson Members of Congress don't take time off. They don't have a 40 hour/week job, their job is to represent their constituents in DC and back home. They travel and attend events for constituents 7 days a week. The "pro-life party" should support mothers & their children.

.@SpeakerJohnson is a kind man and his heart is in the right spot but he’s wrong on proxy voting for new parents. Here are some documents showing him voting by proxy in the 117th Congress, as late as December 2022! He argues it's "unconstitutional" but has done it several times. Since the case is being made to the public via press, I’m going to do the same.
