This is part of what fascinates me about this acquisition — that it seems to make very little financial sense, and Elon hasn't even bothered to look into it. This is the largest leveraged buyout in US financial history!

In a way, it's unfair to expect Elon Musk to know what he should do with Twitter. Most of the previous management and owners -- including those who founded it -- didn't really know what it was or what they should do with it either 😃

In principle, I don’t believe anyone should own or run Twitter. It wants to be a public good at a protocol level, not a company. Solving for the problem of it being a company however, Elon is the singular solution I trust. I trust his mission to extend the light of consciousness.
