You will be shocked when you really find out how many people did not renew their membership with the Reform party. They all left and joined the Restore Britain party.

🚨 THE TRAGIC STORY OF BABY PRESTON DAVEY – FROM DAY ONE TO THE CURRENT TRIAL Little Preston Davey came into this world full of life — bright eyes, curly hair, and that beautiful innocent smile every baby deserves. Day One – The Promise of Safety Preston was taken into care and later placed for adoption with Jamie Varley, 37 (a former teacher), and his partner John McGowan-Fazakerley, 32, in Blackpool. The state approved them. They were in the process of formally adopting him. Three Months Later – The Horror On 27 July 2023, 13-month-old Preston was rushed to Blackpool Victoria Hospital unresponsive. He was pronounced dead. The Injuries – What the Post-Mortem Revealed The court has heard devastating evidence of the abuse this tiny boy suffered: • Around 40 traumatic injuries — internal and external • More than 30 external bruises across his body, including multiple bruises to his head and face • A fractured upper left arm • Internal bruising to his throat, bottom, and bladder • Tears and lacerations consistent with sexual abuse and forcible penetration • A human bite mark on his bottom • Injuries described as “most unusual” and clearly inflicted, not accidental The abuse was allegedly routine and repeated. A defenceless 13-month-old baby subjected to sexual and physical violence in the one place he should have been safest. The Charges (Trial Ongoing at Preston Crown Court) Jamie Varley faces murder along with multiple counts of sexual offences against the baby. His partner faces charges including allowing the death of a child and sexual offences. Both men deny all charges. The trial is continuing. The Big Questions That Need Answers How did a vulnerable baby end up with dozens of inflicted injuries and dead in just three months under approved adopters? What went wrong in the vetting and safeguarding process? Was ideology placed before a child’s safety? Preston deserved love. He deserved protection. He deserved a chance at life — not this unimaginable nightmare. His tiny face and those trusting eyes will stay with everyone who sees this story. Justice for Preston Davey. No more babies sacrificed. No more failures. No more excuses. We will keep following the trial and demanding the full truth. Rest in peace little man. You are not forgotten.

My wife passed away in September of 2025. Thirty-four years together, and then suddenly… silence. People talk about grief like it arrives in dramatic waves, but for me it was quieter than that. It was the sound of only one coffee cup being taken from the cabinet in the morning. It was half the bed staying untouched every night. It was catching myself turning to say something in the kitchen before remembering there was nobody there to answer anymore. The house didn’t just feel lonely after she died. It felt abandoned. My daughter kept telling me I needed company. Someone to care for. Something alive inside the house besides me. I brushed it off every time. I told her I was fine. Truthfully, I spent most evenings sitting in the dark with the television on low volume just to make the rooms feel less empty. Then on February 7th, 2026, I drove to the county animal shelter. I didn’t go there planning to adopt anything. I just needed somewhere to go besides home. It was cold that afternoon, gray skies and freezing rain tapping against the shelter windows. I remember walking slowly past rows of barking dogs while volunteers apologized for the noise. Then I reached the last kennel in the puppy room. And that’s where I saw them. Two black Great Dane puppies curled tightly together on a blanket in the corner. They couldn’t have been more than four months old, but even then their paws already looked enormous. One had a tiny white patch on his chest shaped almost like a crooked star. The other had soft gray eyes that followed every movement nervously from the back of the kennel. What struck me most was how close they stayed to each other. Every time someone approached the kennel, the smaller puppy would press against his brother like he was searching for reassurance. And every time the nervous one flinched at loud barking nearby, the other puppy leaned against him immediately. A volunteer named Melissa walked over beside me and quietly said, “Those two came in together almost three months ago.” I asked what their story was. She explained that their owner had passed away unexpectedly just before Christmas. The man had bred Great Danes for years, but these two puppies were the last litter he ever had. After he died, there was no family willing to take them, and the rescue groups nearby were already overwhelmed after the holidays. Most adopters only wanted one puppy. But separating these two had become impossible. “They panic when they’re apart,” Melissa told me gently. “We tried once during a medical exam. Both of them cried nonstop until they were reunited.” I crouched down outside the kennel. The larger puppy slowly walked over first, clumsy oversized paws sliding slightly against the concrete floor. Then the second puppy followed immediately behind him, almost hiding against his side. Neither barked. The larger one pressed his nose carefully against the kennel door while the smaller puppy simply sat beside him watching me with uncertain eyes. And for the first time in months, something inside my chest shifted. I asked what their names were. “Onyx and Shadow,” she said. I smiled before I could stop myself. Melissa explained that interest in adopting them had slowed almost completely because Great Danes grow massive, and most people weren’t willing to take on two giant dogs at once. Puppies usually found homes quickly, but bonded pairs were harder. Especially large breeds. I watched Onyx lower himself awkwardly onto the blanket before Shadow immediately curled against his side without hesitation. It reminded me painfully of something. Of what it feels like to spend your whole life beside someone until being apart no longer makes sense. Melissa eventually asked softly, “Would you like to meet them?” I said yes before my brain had time to catch up. The moment they entered the visitation room, everything changed. Onyx walked directly over and dropped his giant head into my lap like he had already decided I belonged to him. Shadow stayed slightly behind at first, nervous and cautious, until I reached my hand toward him. Then he moved closer too. Within minutes, both puppies were sprawled across my feet like they’d known me forever. And for the first time since losing my wife, the silence in my life didn’t feel quite so heavy. I asked about the adoption fee. Melissa hesitated before saying, “Honestly, we’d just be grateful to keep them together.” I looked down at the two black puppies leaning against my legs. And suddenly the thought of returning to an empty house without them felt unbearable. So I said, “I’ll take both.” Melissa blinked in surprise. “Both?” she asked again. I nodded. “Some things in this world just aren’t meant to be separated.” That was five months ago. Today, Onyx weighs 112 pounds and still thinks he’s small enough to climb into my lap. Shadow follows me from room to room like a shadow in the literal sense, always close enough to touch my leg with his nose. The house that once felt hollow is loud again. There are giant paws sliding across hardwood floors. Toys scattered across the living room. Deep sleepy sighs at the foot of my bed. Morning walks. Wet noses. Two enormous dogs waiting at the front window every afternoon like I’ve been gone for years even if I only checked the mail. And somehow, without meaning to, those puppies brought life back into a home that grief had emptied. They lost the person who was supposed to love them forever. I lost mine too. But somewhere between all that heartbreak and loneliness, three grieving souls found each other. And together, we became a family again.

I am proud to announce local businesswoman Rebecca Shepherd as our Restore Britain candidate for the Makerfield constituency. Rebecca has spent most of her adult life living and working in the Wigan borough, where she has built and run her own small business. Through that experience, she understands first-hand the pressures facing local businesses and working people across the community. Like so many residents, Rebecca has seen the growing impact of rising costs, increasing legislation, red tape, and bureaucracy, which continue to make everyday life more challenging for ordinary people trying to work hard, support their families, and stay afloat. Put simply - she understands what local men and women are going through. This is the type of person we need in politics. Not career politicians, but genuine people with real life experience. Rebecca is particularly passionate about improving SEND access and support across the local area. Her interest in SEND-friendly activities comes through the work she does within her Community Interest Company, where she has seen first-hand the importance of opportunities, practical support, and activities for people with additional needs. Rebecca is standing for Makerfield because she believes local people deserve honest representation, accountability, and someone prepared to fight for the interests of the community rather than their own political careers. I look forward to campaigning with Rebecca, and putting forward Restore Britain’s positive vision for the Makerfield constituency. Rupert Lowe, Restore Britain Leader Our local priorities: Safer streets for women and girls - tackling the gangs of foreign men who harass and intimidate local women and girls in Ashton, and elsewhere across the constituency and the Wigan Borough. Fight reckless overdevelopment in areas including South Hindley, and Winstanley - roads, dentists and GPs must come before responsible house building provided for local families. Improved SEND support for those in genuine need - we must avoid overdiagnosis, but also provide proper investment to those who need it. Including a constituency-wide investment programme for the improvement and maintenance of children’s playgrounds. Tackle anti-social behaviour in Ashton and elsewhere - no-nonsense, visible policing to crack down on criminal activity in our towns. Parents too must be held responsible for what their children are inflicting on the community. We say enough is enough. Restore our high streets - push for free car parking to drive footfall, abolish business rates to reinvigorate our town centres and deliver a full investigation into the explosion of vape shops and Turkish barbers for trading standards/immigration non-compliance. We are in this to win it.
