Unfortunately, I had to leave Dubai for Europe a week ago — so I’m not only missing the free fireworks from Iran, but also exposing myself to greater risk. Given Europe’s crime rates, Dubai is statistically safer even with missiles flying. Can’t wait to be back.

Wygadują bzdury, które usłyszeli w telewizji. Jeden sobie wmawia, że nie zginie, wprawdzie trzech najbliższych kolegów zginęło, no ale on nie. Walczy, bo nie chce w Rosji parady gejów. Odcinek kończy się innym, totalnie straumatyzowanym chłopakiem (lat chyba 21), który siedzi na dworcu, już nie pamięta dokąd jedzie, skąd, pamięta tylko, że podpisał kontrakt w wojsku na 10 lat, wszyscy kumple wybici. Zapisał się z nudy. "A mogłem siedzieć w ogrodzie". Wrak totalny, pachnie "samobójem".

@danieltilles1 @karol_luczka Thank you for all the comments. We invited Notes from Poland for a meeting during our fact-finding mission but we did not receive a response. Perhaps you could give us your direct email for next time.Our assessment is always based on interviews with local experts, media and NGOs.

@karol_luczka You also note that the govt wants "to end the licence fee altogether and to replace it with direct state funding", which could leave public media "vulnerable to a change in political mood". Again, that seems to go in the direction or more dependence, not less

Another example of how the new government has not depoliticised state TV, just shifted the bias in its own favour. Just as TVP supported Duda's campaign in 2020, it will now support Trzaskowski's I hope international organisations will pay as much attention now as they did then

@danieltilles1 Yes we do pay attention. Yet international organisations cannot “impose” the discussion on the public service media reform. They can support local stakeholders who should lead the process.
