This Memorial Day, you’ll see soldiers, airmen, Marines, and sailors honored. Sadly, few will remember the US Merchant Marine. So please take 7 minutes. Watch 97-year-old WWII veteran Dave Yoho deliver a barn-burning speech on why America must never forget is.

This is very interesting to read. I have been on social media since 2008. I have been attacked on all of the platforms. And of all of them, the attacks on BlueSky were the most vile, obscene, vicious, and shocking that I have ever experienced. So much so that I had to delete my acct over there so people could no longer tag me. Other than that, BlueSky seemed like some bad open mic night where journalists were trying to be funny.

Nezavisimaya Gazeta reports that Chinese digital platforms are now deeply embedded in the daily lives of young Russians, while Russian tech products remain relatively marginal in China. According to a joint Russian-Chinese survey, 84% of young Russians had heard of DeepSeek, 81% mentioned Alibaba/AliExpress, and 68% knew Taobao. By contrast, only 32% of young Chinese respondents recognised Telegram, the most familiar Russian-made digital platform. The survey also found that young Russians increasingly view China as a technological superpower, while young Chinese primarily associate Russia with the military and raw materials.

Meanwhile, in St Petersburg, a second day of mobile internet shutdowns has reportedly led some shops on Nevsky Prospekt to simply stop working altogether. “No internet! Can’t hand out orders!” signs are appearing in some storefronts as businesses struggle to process payments and deliveries.

BREAKING: First Look Inside Maduro Whistleblowers $50 Million Dollar Rewards For Justice Claim Amid Allegations A Senior US Government Official Is Taking Credit This week on Straight to the Point, part II of our exclusive sit down Wesley Tabor and “Mack,” two former DEA operatives with more than 40 years of combined experience in the global drug wars. Based on affidavits, Wesley and Mack activated high level sources within “every node” of the Maduro regime, providing critical intelligence to DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) and DELTA. They say the intelligence from Maduro's inner circle led to the successful capture of the Venezuelan dictator by American authorities. We walk through the actual intelligence packet submitted for their $50 million Rewards for Justice claim. The extraordinary never-before-seen documents include photos and videos of anti-air defenses, schematics for roughly 20 miles of underground tunnels, Ministry of Defense bunker layouts, Maduro’s armored convoy specifics, a modified Embraer aircraft with expanded fuel tanks that could reach Turkey, and more. Now almost five months since the successful raid that captured Nicolás Maduro, the sources who provided this intelligence remain in hiding and under threat while the U.S. government has still given no response on the $50 million reward claim. We reached out to the DEA multiple times. The DEA did not respond to our questions, including allegations DEA Administrator Cole has been taking credit for running their Maduro sources. A spokesperson for the Justice Department declined to comment. The DEA falls under the Justice Department. The Rewards for Justice Program confirmed receipt of our questions but did not answer them. @thelatmg @latimesstudios_ 00:35 Never Before Seen Intelligence From “Every Node” Maduro Regime 02:10 Venezuelan Source Network Hunted Down and Lives at Risk 03:00 Maps, Intelligence Showed Maduro Prepared for US Ground Invasion 04:00 Delta Wanted More Intelligence From Wes and “Mack’s” Sources 05:10 Intelligence Revealed Functionality of Maduro Missile Batteries 05:58 Approx. 20 Miles of Underground Tunnels, Rat Lines, Schematics 08:00 Maduro Convoy: Details For "Delta Snatch and Grab" 10:05 Maduro Had Multiple Escape Plans 11:10 Maduro Planes, Including ”Decoy Jet” and Pilots 13:10 Potential Destinations Included Turkey, Cape Verde and Iran 13:40 DEA “Controversy”: Pipeline of Intel Remains Open to Delta 14:55 Maduro’s Spiritual Adviser Identified: Potential Tracking and Surveillance 16:20 Reward Claim Should Be Evaluated and Validated 19:13 New Reporting: DEA Administrator Allegedly Taking Credit For Running Their Maduro Sources 19:30 DEA Did Not Answer Our Questions Nor Address Administrator Allegations

The testimony of CIA operations officer James Erdman to Congress yesterday paints a devastating picture of a U.S. intelligence and public health establishment that manipulated COVID-origin analysis, retaliated against dissenting analysts, obstructed lawful oversight, and protected institutional interests, including what they know about the JFK assassination, at the expense of transparency and accountability.

There is a broader theme running throughout Erdman’s testimony: that unelected intelligence institutions possess the practical power to delay, shape, limit, or obstruct oversight even when formal declassification orders from the President or congressional mandates exist. This is a rogue organization, that is out of control. An organization beyond the reach of the President of the United States, the Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, and even Congress.

If this graphic does not help convince you we need to pause H-1B, I am not sure what will. 6.9M petitions over 10 years is NOT a program that ONLY fills EXTRAORDINARY gaps. DO A PAUSE AND FULL AUDIT OF H-1B AND EVERY VISA PROGRAM. PROVIDE FULL TRANSPARENCY INTO EACH!
Mike Lee@SenMikeLee

H-1B should only be used to fill extraordinary gaps in our workforce. It was not meant for the wholesale displacement of Americans in their own industries. Time for a long, long H-1B pause.

BREAKING: ICE just announced over 10,000 cases of potential fraud in the Optional Practical Training (OPT) program. We built this infographic weeks ago showing exactly how the student visa pipeline works. Today, ICE confirmed another way it is being abused. Here is what they found: One Texas employer claimed to host 3 OPT students. ICE records showed 500. A New Jersey employer claimed 150+ foreign workers. Only 1 student was actually present. That student admitted they were being trained by a company in India. Empty buildings. Locked doors. Hundreds of students sharing the same address. "Employers" with no lease, no employees, and no real business. Students are paying companies to claim them as workers just to keep their visa status. Companies are running "pay to stay" schemes. HR and management are overseas in India. Here is the kicker: businesses are exempt from payroll taxes on OPT workers. There is a built-in financial incentive to hire foreign students over Americans. 381,140 students were authorized to work through this pipeline in one year. No annual cap. No labor market test. No requirement to hire Americans first. Congress never voted on it. ICE Acting Director Todd Lyons: "This fraud is not victimless. It is a blatant attack on the American people. This is not accidental. It is deliberate, coordinated, and criminal."

David Bier from the Cato Institute published a report estimating a 90% reduction in new H-1B sponsorships for applicants **outside** the U.S. due to the $100K fee. MAGA influencers took this out of context, falsely claiming that overall new H-1Bs dropped 90%. The statistic went viral, and the Vice President repeated it at a TPUSA event, which is why the misconception persists.
