When I see Pastors say dumb stuff like this, I can’t help but think two things. First, they’re going off their experience with women in their own church, which is sad if so. And secondly, these pastors fail to see that there own inability to disciple and preach the word of God to the women in their own congregation is the bigger problem.
And here’s the fundamental problem with Dale‘s tweet. It condemned himself. Joel and Dale clearly have lost the ability to think, which means they should not be in church leadership anymore.

@mdvirgilio @joe_rigney It's not necessarily CNDS. Rigney misinterprets Paul and the Book of Acts. Yes, when brought before magistrates, Paul preached the Gospel and the issues mentioned by Rigney. The point is that Paul didn't seek out such opportunities; he did this when he was imprisoned.

Paul spends most of the book of Acts attempting to get in front of every Roman magistrate he possibly can in order to preach the gospel to them and call them to govern according to righteousness, self-control, and the coming judgment, while writing a letter to the church in the imperial capital that includes a description of the magistrate's role as God's minister to punish what is evil and reward what is good.

Just like the late 19th/early 20th century Protestant liberals, Christian Nationalists have little use for the Apostle Paul with regard to their project. Machen wrote "The Origin of Paul's Religion." We could write, "The Non-Existence of Paul's Christian Nationalism."

The video of Nabeel Qureshi being baptized was lost for 20 years but finally found. I watched this friend & ex-Muslim being baptized just before I entered Two Cities Church in North Carolina to preach the gospel. Lord, may many more people find redemption through Christ today.

Nations change by elites via institutions, not by reforming everyday life or “focusing on the family” or reforming the church or “gospel-changed hearts.” We should do all that. But it isn’t sufficient. Nations change by elites via institutions.
