blizzard customer service just hit a new low.. 1) coffeeboy on reddit saw a sale running for a boost on the battlenet launcher, he bought it, but the sale was already over 2) coffeeboy tickets blizzard to complain 3) blizzard sends him one of the most unhinged responses in recent memory players have complained recently about "ai responses" and missing the days when you could talk to an actual human.. is this the new way to make their AI responses seem more human? what's going on here

When (still an “if”, to be fair) Classic+ launches, SHOULD HARDCORE SERVERS LAUNCH RIGHT AWAY? My guilds been debating this and people are split, wondering what ya’ll think. Not even sure they’ll do a hardcore server at all but worth thinking about!

I don’t understand why Star Wars doesn’t lean into the more mature themes of the IP. Kids these days don’t care, but adults still do (dwindling fast), so stop pandering and go full ANDOR. Less shooty blasty, more nuance and realistic drama. And yes, I AM yelling at clouds..city.

Imagine Stratholme proper, fully restored. Imagine a Classic+ where the world changed and the actions of players and the lore actually had lasting effects. In an alternate timeline, in Classic+, this could be real. A restored plaguelands. The Eastwealds as a new zone.

@joardee as beautiful as it sounds a majority of the time you need to already be stable, well off or wealthy in order to have the free time to dedicate to developing something. There are exceptions for sure and people who choose to gamble on serious life altering debt.

At this point i just assume the game industry is dead in the future since every studio only wants Principles and leads which means they have to be in their late 40s at this point in time.
