@danny_mercer Worthy of a B4 not a B3. I work as a B4 in a community rapid response team and carry out the clinical tasks you have listed. I worked as a B3 for many years and pushed for a B4 as the job grew. I love it and it’s rewarding.

Doctors need Band 3 Doctor Assistant roles. A driver of burnout/slow progression for medics is the amount of service-provision we do. The NHS is holding doctors back. Nurses have adjunct staff, we need it too. UK: we don't need blood cultures/cannulas from doctors daily.

Patient had a #stroke at 12 noon, playing with his grandchildren, dense right sided weakness. Successful mechanical thrombectomy and clot out within 3 hours. Patient reunited with grandchildren, completely normal, by evening. Feel very blessed🙏 #NHS #doctor #neurorad #MedTwitter

@piersmorgan @champneys I don’t envy you @piersmorgan picking from all of these but here is my plea 🙂 my Husband lost his job in electronics during lockdown and has since found employment for a Palliative care charity - out of his comfort zone enormously but doing amazing stuff to make a difference.
