@karthikponna19 The answer to such questions used to be simple YES, not anymore (!): for example, Apple "cables" are no longer dumb cables, some have their own electronics inside. That's why I will NOT recommend you try. Not to say you might not get lucky, but I can't recommend it in general.

Avoid 1&1 Internet - they suck. They cancelled my contract one sided and despite that keep billing me weird sums *after* talking to them on the phone.
