@JukkaSavo @WSJ Great piece. But it’s a bit murky as to why things haven’t brewed up already, given that overcrowding in the upper academic tiers has been going on since at least the late 80s. Speaking as a disaffected poet and armchair anarchist.

@ImmanentFlux @trampset Thanks. Thanks for the info too. I had four (or five?) of the Power 9 and sold them over 10 years ago, along with others. Now even some of the leftovers have climbed in value.

@ImmanentFlux @trampset My mistake. Yes the auto-cap function can be annoying. I delete them and then change a line, hit Tab and then accidentally re-capitalize. BTW, which cards?

Out of curiosity, did you mean to capitalize last line beginning words? Or had you had them at end of the line and moved them down and Word automatically capitalized them?
Also idk if you know but in the card world they just banned 4 expensive cards today.

@timothygreen @RattlePoetry “Not a good fit” is the most common phrase among my rejections. I assume that it is simply the latest safe stock phrase, given that it’s a phrase I never used to see in rejections 20 years ago.

If you're publishing your poems less often than you used to, why is that? What's the biggest problem?
