Rois Maire new Lord Mayor of Belfast supposed to represent all the city. So far shes acted as a spokesperson for one fraction.IMO shes taken a onesided political stance and ignoring the lawful and deeply held concerns of a massive part of our community.#Bringback @Tracybelfast1

@paulahicks27 @Tracybelfast1 watch your tone ya nasty bigot. SF are the largest party in Belfast AND Ireland. Tracey was only mayor because SF graciously shared the post with their minority PUL neighbours. They didn't have to.
English

@Victor_Coates82 Ya left out the bit where Nurses and carers were burnt out because of the colour of their skin.

This happened last year just across the city from me.
A pregnant Irish catholic woman was intimidated from her home by british UDA planters. One of many such individual instances over the last few years.
Despite calls to do so from activists themselves - there was NO resulting mobilisation of Irish republicans in defence of this woman. No rallies to support her. No whipround for a few quid. Nothing.
What sort of message does this send when foreign nationals are offered greater support and protection than our own people? That attacks on Irish catholics and their homes are part of the status-quo, something to be accepted, the usual existence for an Irish person living in a part of Ireland still occupied by Britain.
This is unacceptable to me and many of the Irish republicans I know.

@Casper1395810 @YYZ2YGK The rioters are pro Israel, zionists, anti Irish, anti Catholic. They are British settlers living in Ireland. They are the last remnants of Britain's colonisation of Ireland.
Just so ya know.
English

@joe147180 @YYZ2YGK Yes, it IS truly amazing that they are finally only doing a little revenge and fighting for survival in their OWN HOME COUNTRY, you vile fuking traitor!!!!!!
English

@FightHypocrisy1 You are thick as dogshit. My grandson has a better grasp on events. Did you finish primary school?
English

@richardtgarland Being the truth makes it acceptable. Loyalism is anti Irish, anti Muslim, anti Catholic, anti migrant, anti psni, anti alliance, anti sdlp, anti GAA, anti stormont, anti BCC, anti bbc, anti Irish govt anti brit govt, loyalists don't even like loyalists ffs
English

“Loyalism is the defining problem”
What makes this any more acceptable than the rest of the stereotyping doing the rounds?
Ze Roberto@letshaveye
It’s becoming quite clear that loyalism and its apologists and supporters are the defining problem in N Ireland.
