On this date 96 years ago, Vernon Law was born in Meridian, Idaho. Law was Pittsburgh’s first Cy Young Award winner after going 20-9 with 18 complete games and a 3.08 ERA for the World Champion Bucs in 1960. Vernon was inducted into the @Pirates Hall of Fame in 2025.
