@johannesmkx This is total BS! The video is legit but it cut so a part of the story is missing. The text is this post is not correct and states lies, like the police threatening mothers to take away their children. If a "noodbevel" is in place you cannot be in certain places. That is the law.

To end the anti-immigration protests, Dutch police have received orders to start threatening mothers that their children will be taken away. I messaged one such mother yesterday (the one in the video below). Her husband was arrested and detained for 2 hours just for being present at a protest. She is terrified and won't be protesting again. Dutch media wrote about these 'family outings' last week. The presence of women and children apparently threatens to normalize 'the far right'. But it's the government that is radicalizing. The mayor of one town suggested to bring in the Dutch military to take over from the police. Police forces don't like it that the public have started to truly hate them.

@claudeai so I pay 180 euros for a max plan but then I can't use it for Claude Design?? Even though I have many usage left over each day... that seems really unfair to me.

@claudeai Why in the world are you turning on extra usage without notifying me?? I'm on a 20x max plan and I never hit my limits. This must have come from Claude Design but it failed horribly to inform that I was spending extra money. On top of this I also cannot ask for a refund

Inderdaad, helemaal mee eens. Ambtenaren in NL doen maar wat en hebben geen verstand van zaken. Of het nou de gemeente, RDW of rijkswaterstaat is, overal wordt er onder maat gepresteerd en gaat alles verschrikkelijk langzaam! Je kan de incompetentie alleen al zien aan het taalniveau van verklaring van de RDW. Ronduit slecht geschreven en daarnaast ook incompleet. We beginnen steeds verder achter te lopen in Nederland door soort geneuzel, heel triest dit. Het is overduidelijk dat FSD, zeker het afgelopen jaar, een grote bijdrage levert aan de verkeersveiligheid en dat is niet omdat het systeem in de auto dat zorgt voor de oplettendheid van de bestuurder zo goed is 🤦‍♂️ Gelukkig hebben we eindelijk goed keuring maar hoe lang gaat het duren voor auto's die rijden op HW3?

De RDW presenteert de goedkeuring van FSD als een overwinning voor veiligheid en zorgvuldigheid. Klinkt geruststellend, maar het vertelt maar de helft van het verhaal. Ja, testen is nodig. Niemand wil ongeteste technologie op de weg. Maar anderhalf jaar testen, gevolgd door politieke goedkeuring en straks een stemronde tussen lidstaten? Dat is geen pure veiligheidscheck meer. Dat is centrale planning van innovatie. En daar zit precies het probleem. In Europa geloven we dat bureaucraten vooraf moeten bepalen wanneer technologie “veilig genoeg” is. In de VS ligt de verantwoordelijkheid bij bedrijven en gebruikers, met aansprakelijkheid achteraf. Dat verschil is fundamenteel. Het eerste systeem vertraagt, het tweede leert en corrigeert sneller. Wat hier gebeurt met Tesla is illustratief. Innovatie vindt elders plaats. Europa reageert, vertraagt en legitimeert achteraf. En ondertussen positioneert men dat als leiderschap. Nog een ongemakkelijke realiteit: dit soort trajecten bevoordelen grote spelers. Alleen bedrijven met diepe zakken kunnen zich permitteren om door langdurige goedkeuringsprocessen te gaan. Startups worden effectief buitengesloten. Veiligheid wordt zo een dekmantel voor marktprotectie. Dan de juridische spagaat: “de bestuurder blijft verantwoordelijk”. Terwijl het systeem steeds meer rijtaken overneemt. Dat is geen duurzaam model. Of de mens rijdt, of de machine rijdt. Alles daartussen is een tijdelijke constructie die juridisch wordt afgedekt, maar technologisch wringt. Een nuchtere libertaire benadering zou anders zijn: laat innovatie toe, maar leg de verantwoordelijkheid daar waar die hoort. Bij producenten, gebruikers en verzekeraars. Laat risico’s geprijsd worden in plaats van politiek gefilterd. Want de echte vraag is niet of dit systeem perfect is. Dat is geen enkele technologie. De vraag is: welk systeem corrigeert sneller fouten en redt uiteindelijk meer levens? Europa kiest voor vertraging en controle vooraf. Dat voelt veilig, maar heeft een prijs. Minder snelheid, minder concurrentie en minder invloed op de technologie van morgen. En als deze systemen daadwerkelijk veiliger zijn, wat zeer waarschijnlijk is, dan betekent elke maand vertraging simpelweg dat we langer blijven rijden met slechtere, gevaarlijkere systemen. Dat is de ironie van dit model. Wat bedoeld is om risico te verminderen, kan het in de praktijk juist verlengen.

Wat zijn de ambtenaren in NL toch een stel losers. De reden dat we FSD hebben goedgekeurd is omdat er zo'n goed systeem in de auto zit dat zorgt dat de bestuurder goed op let 🤦‍♂️. Echt, de incompetentie is ongelofelijk in Nederland! Het zal dan ook lastig worden om oudere Tesla modellen met HW3 goedgekeurd te krijgen.
