@Philipmckinny I understand that. The part that is bullish to me is that they visited Niger and two other countries in Africa as a part of their diplomatic work. They could have gone to a number of other places. It’s just another positive step among so many that have happened of late. $GLO.

I thought March 10th would be the earliest an announcement would come. Many, myself included, think that an announcement will come at the end of this week during the Power Africa Summit hosted in DC with DFC folks in attendance. $GLO

When I asked Copilot to rank all of the African energy and mineral projects currently seeking DFC assistance, $GLO came up as the most likely followed by Kabanga Nickel and Pensana - Longonjo Rare Earths. Best of luck!

@GLoffelhardt I think you are right! I’m optimistic that $GLO is being selected and Stephen Roman is going on Lucijan’s show to talk about it and next steps. They haven’t set a date yet, and I think he has to wait until it is announced at the summit.

@Mike93101257 @ABongo888 I like that. Play the inverse. The DFC would have no reason to not share the negative news if it had occurred and $GLO would have been required to make it public. So, they either were selected, or have not gone through Investment Committee yet. Either way, still moving forward

@ABongo888 I would speculate that if the DFC had rejected the mine development loan for $GLO, or if its decision had stalled, then we would have heard something by now. There would be no requirement to wait for Congressional Notification before announcement $GLO
