Anton O'Toole closed his eyes for the last time a year ago today. A selfless, gentle titan. The kindest friend. I can still see/hear Mary Black at his funeral leading his '70s comrades in a rendition of Dublin in the Rare Oul Times. A moment of cathartic, spine-tingling beauty.
