Christopher Columbus is the ultimate IQ test. You immediately know that someone is a retarded halfwit if they start screeching some nonsense about how Columbus was a genocidal maniac or whatever. Intelligent students of history understand that he is one of the great men of western civilization. This is an awesome move by the White House.

The Mueller Special Counsel's Office brought two indictments that went into great detail about the supposed Russian "interference" in the 2016 election. Both were long "speaking indictments" laying out the ALLEGATIONS made by the Mueller prosecutors. Those allegations were dutifully reported by the press and Dems as "Facts" -- something they continue to do to this day. The Mueller SCO those documents publicly, with all the names of Russian defendants there for everyone to see, guaranteeing that none of those people would 1) travel to the US or 2) travel to any country that might extradict them to the U.S. They could have kept them sealed until they had an opportunity to arrest the named defendants -- many of whom had lived in the U.S. at one time or another. But instead the Mueller SCO had grand press conferences where they treated the ALLEGATIONS as fact. But then a strange thing happened. One company named in one of the indictments had a US law firm appear on its behalf. With the Law Firm standing in as a Corporate Reprensentative -- as is allowed by law -- the Russian company pled "Not Guilty" and announced "Game On". The Mueller SCO resisted having to prosecute the case on a variety of grounds -- losing each time. The Mueller SCO then closed up shop and handed the burning bag of dog poop to the U.S. Attorney for DC. Within months the U.S. Attorney dismissed the case. What I typed above is the ENTIRETY of what the Mueller SCO "proved" about Russian "collusion" in the 2016 election -- exactly nothing.

Have we fore gotten the the Mueller SCO went after Trump, his family, friends, business associates, political allies, etc, all in search of a person who would cooperate and link Trump to Russia. The lawfare tends to get overshadowed by Jack Smith. But Mueller had 20 prosecutors and caused dozens of people to incur millions in legal fees all based on a hoax that they knew was a hoax 3 months after taking over. Good riddance.

The Iranian war continues to accelerate the arrival of the multipolar world - and Europe is the least ready of the emerging power blocs. While the two Iranian missiles were launched at Diego Garcia, the goal was to prove that Europe was fully in range. Message received. 1/
The Reckoning 💥@sethjlevy

People owe Trump and Ratcliffe apologies. Basically Iran had missiles capable of delivering a nuclear warhead to every major European city. Influencers may have been willing to role that dice but Trump wasn’t.

This is a deranged article and preposterous ruling. Not once does it mention the fact that the detainee is an illegal alien (freed into the country by Dems in 2022). A federal district court judge ordered the alien released again because “this is a person who was just living his daily life.” Congress long ago explicitly stripped the judiciary of jurisdiction over deportation cases precisely because it is so ludicrous and destructive to afford valuable federal trial court hours to individual civil deportations (in a nation with millions upon millions of illegal aliens). And yet, in plain defiance of law, it is now routine anytime an illegal alien is arrested a network of activists and NGO lawyers instantly file improper and frivolous habeas petitions in federal district court to demand their immediate release. Leftist judges who, again, never dispute the aliens are here illegally, then order ICE to release the alien. Both the illegals’ attorneys and the judges who enable them are engaged in a gross and egregious abuse of the legal system in an effort to grind down the enforcement of our sovereign laws.

“Other than a mistake by ICE, he would not have been detained,” Federal Judge William K. Sessions said of the man. “This is a person who was just living his daily life.” buff.ly/U5Y4EHs

Is there a historical conflict like Root? With one individual guy going around doing his own quests, while two armies fight each other and an insurgency rises up against both of them? I can think of maybe two situations. One is post WW2 Sicily. Salvatore Giuliano was a bandit leader who went around engaging in high stakes crime and ocasionally entering politics, at the same time as a 3-way struggle between the Allied-backed government, the Communists and the Mafia. The other is Robin Hood - if we can take the stories at face value. 13th century, you have two rival claimants to the throne in England and a possible French invasion. Robin Hood, a King Richard loyalist, going around doing his own thing. Are there any others?

Chuck Norris didn't join the Marine Corps...the Marine Corps applied to him. Heaven’s streets have always been guarded by Marines. Today, Chuck Norris reported for duty. We mourn the passing of Chuck Norris, a @usairforce veteran, who also became an honorary Marine in 2007 when awarded the title by then Commandant of the Marine Corps, Gen. James T. Conway. Chuck Norris is one of just over 100 individuals to be awarded the title of Honorary Marine in the entire 250-year history of the Corps. Some missions may require a battalion, but this one just requires an Honorary Marine. #USMCHistory #USMC #SemperFidelis

This morning @scratchyjohnson tweeted an important factoid. Squanto, the Indian who spoke English and helped the pilgrims survive, was sold by John Smith to a Spaniards and the deed exists in the city we're in for Excursion. Rather than rolling our eyes, Alan, Gavin & I went to the state archives in Málaga to see if we can find said recorded deed of 20 Indians sold by John Smith to Juan Bautista Reales. We get to the Archives (see Alan's picture below), and a small genial white lab coat wearing gentleman who speaks no English says this is impossible to find. His new boss, the head archivist, Carmen, comes in and says it certainly exists but may be difficult to find. If you only had the year. We tell her it was 1614. She pulls up a list of the books from 29 notaries whose work they have from 1614. She asks who the notary was. We have no idea. They say they can't go through 29 archives to look for it. Also it's all in old Spanish which nobody speaks and it'll be hard to locate even if they know the Notary. So Alan and Gavin get to work. Gavin finds an article in the internet archive that seems to have a partial picture of the document. Carmen and the other archivist decipher the name after 15 min. They find that name in their cross reference. Carmen goes to the vault to look while the lab coat gentleman asks for my life history, driver's licence number and a lien on my grandchildren. Totally worth it. Carmen comes back to say she found the volume. It is tremendously delicate. Opening it may break some pages. Does it have to be today because if so the answer will be no. We ask her if this is interesting to them. Both very seriously nod their heads. We tell them this is very important to the United States and many of our friends. Carmen tells us she will find it but that it takes time. White linen gloves and patience. We tell her to take her time. She says she will take a picture and email it to me. So here's why all this is important: after Squanto was sold by an Englishman to a Spaniard names Reales, said Spaniard brought Squanto and 19 other "inios" to Málaga. He recorded the deed in the state archives. Then a Franciscan priest ransomed Squanto. Squanto became Catholic. Was baptized and confirmed in Málaga. He then made his way to England where he worked and learned English. He paid his passage back across the ocean and found his Wampanoag tribesmen. Then when the Pilgrims landed they found a Catholic English-speaking native who helped them survive their first winter. It is entirely possible that but for a Franciscan priest who ransomed Squanto, the Pilgrims may not have survived their first winter in New England. That's history. American history. And the record of it is in Málaga. In a book. One of 29 books kept by notaries in Málaga in 1614. That are still searchable. This image, when it comes, belongs in the US National Archive.
