@joecarp4 @CBS @CBSSports And I’m not just some dude complaining. I run audio for a 6k seat venue with budget speakers. BTN, ESPN, FS1, and Flo broadcast our events. I also have my hearing tested every week when I get paid to test how well various audio and hearing protection attenuates external sound.

@CBS @CBSSports The Masters audio mix is giving me a headache. You seem to have the ambient noise way too loud. How has no one fixed this yet???
English

I did. And CBS coverage was the only issue with my sound. Several people had the same issue.

@BCRPoppy @CBSSports Check your system audio settings
English

@BCRPoppy Several? Out of millions? If you only want to hear the announcers, listen only to your center channel. There are also adjustments you can make to enhance the dialogue on any device. If you want to hear everything (the golf, the crowd, the music) then listen to my mix.

@DustinAllgeier @CBS @CBSSports The rest of X? I’ve seen 2 complaints….out of millions. Sounded great from where I was mixing it, and I’m sure someone would have alerted me of issues downstream. If you just want to hear the announcers, listen to your center channel only, or the radio.

@joecarp4 @CBS @CBSSports Me and the rest of X complaining??? Also, I don’t know how my home system would be configured to adjust the gain on individual audio channels from broadcast TV. The ambient noise was way too loud, it was overpowering the commentators. No problems watching anything else.

Anyone else notice the audio on CBS coverage of the Masters today that the background noise is too much; almost over riding the commentators. @CBSSports
English

@SkeeterSoze @CBSSports @TheMasters It’s 2026. You should try checking out your audio system settings
English

@SkeeterSoze @CBS Care to expound on “atrocious”? Sounded pretty good from where I was mixing it Soze
English

Is @cbs trying to lose the Masters? Shots way behind and delayed, the sound is atrocious, and constant commercial breaks!?!?!?! #TheMasters

English

@FOXSports, you got fix the broadcast audio for the World Series. All I hear the crowd and organ. Killing me
English

Fox pumping in crowd noise makes it impossible to hear their announcers. #MLBPlayoffs
English

World Series audio mix is terrible. Announcers are almost inaudible. #WorldSeries #Dodgers Fix this @FOXSports
English

@bike_eagle @SayHelloMarcus @FOXSports Might want to check your home systems settings before publicly criticizing something bro
English

@SayHelloMarcus @FOXSports It sounds like they are mixing in sound from the crowd and organ, but overdoing it. I had better audio when I was a kid listening to Jack Buck call Cardinals games on my AM transistor radio.
English

@SayHelloMarcus @FOXSports Listen to this clip of one of the loudest parts of the game. Can you hear joe Davis clearly?
