@jonathanoatess No. Allgaier showed at Daytona when he was leading why he's NOT in the Cup series. There's a reason Penske dumped him 15 years ago. If it wasn't for him bringing sponsor Brandt, nobody would've hired him.

If Bowman can’t come back, I think Allgaier would be a great “bridge” before Hendrick brings in a more permanent replacement (Probably Rajah or Corey?) Allgaier qualified decently for tomorrow and ran great filling in for Larson at the 600 last year.
