I had a dream this morning that I was playing a video game made by @xkcd. It was a single-player, Zelda-like adventure game where you walked around collecting items, but everything in the game was comprised of emojis.

@jatomic If he had directed the question at me, I think I would've answered that the form of a t-shirt, if you lay it out flat, resembles a "T." Short pants, on the other hand, if you lay them out flat, seem to invite the name "upside down u-pants."

@skybondsor Also, to your whimsical example: I HAVE accidentally sat for over an hour in the past, which, while perhaps not exactly an ego-transcending amount of time, is definitely an other-obligations-transcending amount of time, you know?

@skybondsor There's nothing specific I can think of, but the FEELING I have when I instantiate a timer on my phone is one of, like, [what I would call] "temporal trauma," so I imagine SOMEthing happened at SOME point.
