@MattP1Tommy The rules need modified to state in conditions such as yesterday, all cars must start on full wets and follow the safety car for an a certsin number of laps (4/5) to assess the conditions. We were robbed yesterday

I know he gets a lot of stick on the podcast at times, but, I have just watched a clip of the '92 Silverstone podium and I have never heard a crowd roar like that at F1. "Mansell Mania" was really a thing. I was just too young to have any recollection of it.

Has anyone watched the Mansell onboard videos from the F1 YouTube channel. The random use of V12 engine noises in some of the 91 videos and even a V8 on another is infuriating 🤨 youtu.be/Zr3Vf8iW2no?si…

@GrandPrix_Paul I always feel like Flav would have got rid of him sooner rather than later. He has said before the team should have a clear number 1 (Schumacher then Alonso) with a capable number 2. I think pace wise he would have matched alonso on his day but ultimately lose out

Jenson Button at Renault. He had a fairly decent 2002 as he regained his confidence. If he’d have stayed across 2003-2006 as Alonso’s team mate how do you think he’d have got on?

I saw a gentleman in a fantastic blue Mastercard Lola t shirt outside the Bull Ring in Birmingham this lunchtime. I was that impressed I had to go over and say I liked the t shirt! He no doubt thought I was weird, but a fantastic spot out about!

@MrSimonEmms @trmat2503 They were a proper advert for customer teams and a breath of fresh air in 2007 once ties with Honda were sorted out. Wasn't unusual to see the 2 customer teams beating their pay masters that year

@joshua_tree87 @GrandPrix_Paul Prost seemed to go through the motions. Senna started and ended strongly. Hill once he realised from France onwards that he was actually able to race was arguably the strongest of the bunch. Realistically should've won 5 in a row

@joemoore1990 @GrandPrix_Paul So who was the star performer in 93? Prost just about got the job done in the best car. Part of me thinks that was actually Damon Hill's finest year?

Across the 1989-2005 period which driver did the best (most complete job) across any individual season of your choosing? Doesn’t necessarily have to be the champion. Schumacher’s 95 probably stands out to me. Can only really think of the Imola mistake.

Seeing the new F1 film makes me so glad the Sylvester Stallone gave up and we waited a further 25 years 🤣. Also a couple of V10 era scenes (to keep my post on brand 😅)

@GrandPrix_Paul @joshua_tree87 I think you are right. From summer to when Mika arrived he looked disinterested and got woken up. He was back to his best in Japan and Oz The Schumacher point is spot on too. Very underwhelming and no sign of things to come. Think the guys touched on the point on the 93 lookback

@joshua_tree87 I think Mika woke him up to be honest. I think mid-season his motivation had dropped a little and he’d lost some edge. Suzuka and Adelaide we saw the real Senna. I’ve always felt Schumacher underperformed slightly in ‘93 as the car was good. Was unlucky at Monaco though.
