I was talking to my Dad and he said, "What's your latest half utopian idea for schools?" And I told him about amplify (grow what worked well), hospice (let go what isn't working), and create (what needs to be invented). Sounds remarkably pragmatic, he said. Thanks Dad!

There needs to be a "Hack the Crisis" challenge in every country. Collective action is an obvious need right now, but it needs a middle man creating structure and support. This could help.

@jericwilson Would love to hear what effect you think it might have. It seems there will be inevitable grief and hardship as inequality deepens along many lines. At the same time, I wonder if this period might bring a positive reconsideration of the purpose and approach to school in the US.
