Workforce - @MDCollege keeps pushing the envelope of workforce reskilling efforts in the face of AI related disruptions. As a resident, I’m hopeful that we will see some benefits from these efforts. I’m well aware that it all comes down to execution and accountability.

Cmon Richard. While we can agree that affordability/housing/transit looms as challenge points for middle-income residents, the use of the term ‘exodus’ by Newsweek is clickbait. The pain of neighbors in that income band is real and seen. You and I both know and worked to tackle Miami’s pre-pandemic struggle to attract/retain the Creative Class and post Pandemic we encountered the opposite phenomenon owing to macro conditions elsewhere. The real measure of how we are doing will be measured in a decade against the backdrop of a range of efforts to increase housing inventory, access to higher wage non-degree requiring jobs, and efforts on advanced mobility.
