Yet another congratulations to @joeynick23 on his commitment to @UWSbaseball! Another guy we get to watch play some college ball nearby who we're extremely proud of! One of the hardest workers we've had the pleasure of coaching.

Congrats is in order to our two MN American Legion All-Stars @C2Dylan_ and @joeynick23. These dudes showed out this weekend at the Prospect Series at the University of Northwestern!

Congratulations to our VFW team taking 4th place at the State tournament this weekend. Very proud of our boys for competing all season. We had a lot of fun and made a lot of memories

Our VFW opened up the State Tourney w/ a big W over New Ulm 8-1. @joeynick23 pitched a gem going 5.0 IP, giving up only 2 H w/ 6 K. Peyton Call had a big game at the fish going 3 for 5 w/ 2 RBI. @TimHudoba chipped in going 2 for 4 w/ a 3B. The boys play tomorrow at 1:30pm.

Congrats to our VFW on their bid to the State Tourney after downing Rapids last night. Max DeRosier pitched a heck of a game going the distance with 7 K and only 1 ER. The VFers will take on the District 2 Champ at 1:30pm on August 4 at Seitz Field in Austin, MN.

The boys battled today to take the lead in the bottom of 7 and walk-off Mayport, ND. Massive performance on the mound by @joeynick23 going all 7, giving up 0 ER w/ 5 Ks. Even bigger late-game AB from @lukas_niska staying disciplined to watch four consecutive balls for the win.

Trops pull of a walk off in extra innings against Wahpeton thanks to @joeynick23’s back…literally. The boys tallied 17 hits in the 13-12 W. @DylanMancheste5 2 for 4, 2💣💣, 4 RBI, 2 R @CharlieSuther10 2 for 4, 2 2B, 3 RBI, 1 R @DeanHudoba 3 for 5, 2 2B, RBI, W (on the bump)

The boys keep the Win Train rolling in another one against Delano. @DeanHudoba stays hot at the dish going 2 for 2 w/ a RBI and R. @joeynick23 throws a gem going 5 IP, 4 H, 3 K, 0 BB, and 71% strikes!

The season ends for Post 28 tonight in a tough pill to swallow. Walks, HBPs, and errors made it tough to stay in a game against a team that was hot at the plate. Beyond proud of how this team battled all summer and never quit. Took their lumps and remained great human beings.

Hello, Byron Buxton would probably play at 1% if the Twins let him. He's the one always pressing to stay on or get back on the field. Getting hurt a lot and being soft are not the same thing. Thanks for listening, Tom
