Honestly, even calling it “AI“ is fraudulent.
There’s no intelligence going on. It’s not “thinking”. It mimics thought.
It’s a potentially useful programming tool and a neat, very polite search engine. But that’s all and people aren’t paying lots of money for it.

I’ve had zero of this. It does exactly what you tell it to do. You steer it. You set the tone. You correct it once and it adapts.
If your AI feels manipulative, maybe stop talking to it like you’re confessing to a crime scene.

You cannot steal someone's work to "cure cancer." This way, every thief would claim they robbed your house to sell your stuff to cure cancer.
You cannot commit a crime by saying you have good intentions.

I’m honestly shocked right now. If this ruling stands, it could set a precedent that doesn’t just hit OpenAI, but the entire AI ecosystem. We’re talking about the very tools that could cure cancer, slow aging, fight climate change and accelerate scientific progress by decades… all being threatened because a handful of authors think training on text is equivalent to stealing books. The idea that the future of biotech, longevity, medicine and climate tech could be crippled by this lawsuit is completely wild to me. 🤯

Gemini 2.5 Pro was announced on March 25, 2025, as an experimental preview and was stabilized for public release on June 17, 2025. Veo 3 was publicly launched on September 9, 2025. Coincidentally, all of these dates fell on a Tuesday, so Gemini 3 is expected to launch on 18/11/25
