Salah announces he's leaving, and two days later they feature his biggest critic on the official channel, leaving him out of the top 5 players to play for LFC. Due to the timing, it feels like either a PR shambles or a subtle dig at Salah. Guarantee Salah not impressed. 👍

Bad call by Slot. - Time up for Slot. Can't be manager next season. - Szoboszlai suspended, wish he'd let goal stand. - Give Szoboszlai whatever he wants + POTY already. Didn't deserve loss. - Need top #6 in summer. Obvious. - VVD excellent, still best CB in PL, didn't deserve defeat. - Forwards invisible: Gakpo, Ekitike, Salah. - Gakpo can't start LW next season, leaving him on was big mistake. - Hate to say but need new RW in summer. - Squad depth joke, almost no bench options. - Kerkez decent. - Small positives: disallowed goal keeps us above Brentford🫣 - City likely catch Arsenal – only upsides from another depressing game🫣 Agree???

This might be an unpopular opinion, but the first thing Liverpool need to do this summer is sell Conor Bradley. I love Conor Bradley. He is a great player with a great attitude and a Liverpool academy graduate, but unfortunately this is his third injury of the season after already missing eight matches. The bigger concern is the long term picture. This is now his seventh injury for Liverpool, having already missed 58 matches, and he is only 22. That is not bad luck, it is a pattern. My biggest pet peeve in football, especially at Liverpool, is the habit of holding on to injury prone players and hoping things will somehow change. They never do. I have never seen an injury prone player suddenly stop being injury prone. The smart move is to sell while their stock is high. We have seen this cycle far too many times. Daniel Sturridge, Naby Keïta, Joel Matip, Thiago and Oxlade-Chamberlain all ran their contracts down and left injured on a free. Joe Gomez is another injury prone player and I have no doubt he will eventually follow the same path. Look at Alexander Isak, a £120m injury prone talent who has struggled to stay fit and battled niggles since his transfer and is now out injured for months. Quality means nothing if you cannot rely on availability. Football is ruthless, and sentimentality costs clubs dearly.

Watching Florian Wirtz is a prime example of why you shouldn’t be focusing on G/A. When you actually watch him, he controls the game to a elite level and how much he contributes defensively. World class player.

@LFCApproved Can’t understand the logic we need to sell him, he performs when called upon and was injured at the start of last season so missed pre season and couldn’t break into team. He has undeniable quality and gives us attacking depth which we seem to be lacking currently

Not many will think anything of it but, Harvey Elliott is such a solid professional. Rio Ngumoha scores his goal, the winner in the 100th minute. Elliott pushes Rio to soak up the celebration alone, then returns to him after checking how long is left, telling Ngumoha to keep his head. It could’ve been so easy to get carried away for the 16-year-old in that situation and get lost for the last few moments. Harvey has been instrumental for multiple seasons to our youth players coming through, which is crazy when he’s only 22 himself.
