@SportsSturm That’s tough because people in CS truly believed Weigman was the real deal. And he was certainly touted as such. Probably felt like he didn’t need to bring a QB.

I have considered the cheap 2nd guess of an alternate world where Elko brings his QB1 from Duke to A&M in 2024. It seems like QB is usually an important detail in every football season and that might have been a miss that revises history. Also, I didnt 2nd guess this until now.
