Perhaps we should do something about the 'runaway' green subsidies that Mr Vince has collected His Ecotricity operation currently supplies around 0.05% of power to the grid and in the last 20 years has collected £145 million from long-suffering electricity bill-paying consumers.
Dale Vince@DaleVince

We need to act to prevent runaway profits off the back of runaway oil prices. While we let wholesale prices soar with global markets, we allow household energy bills to soar with them. Labour needs to act now – and not just bung billions at the problem (high bills) but cap bills at the source. inews.co.uk/news/politics/…

A bartender in Galveston, Texas was arrested for serving a drunk customer who killed someone. She makes $25 an hour. A federal judge makes $236,000 a year and has absolute legal immunity for every decision on the bench, including releasing violent offenders who kill again. 42 states have dram shop laws. The bartender’s causation chain has two links: pour drink, person crashes. Exposed window? Sometimes three hours. She can be charged with criminal negligence, sued in civil court, and lose her livelihood. All for failing to eyeball whether a guy at a crowded bar was too drunk for one more round. The judge has a pre-sentencing report, a criminal history score, a risk assessment algorithm, victim impact statements, and a prosecutor arguing the case in front of them. Every tool the system can produce. And when they get it wrong? Nothing. Absolute judicial immunity, codified since Bradley v. Fisher in 1871, means a judge cannot be sued for any act performed in judicial capacity. How absolute? In 1978, the Supreme Court ruled in Stump v. Sparkman that a judge who signed a petition to sterilize a 15-year-old girl without her knowledge or consent was fully immune. The court acknowledged the act was reprehensible. Didn’t matter. Judicial act, judicial immunity, case closed. That precedent still controls today. The recidivism data is where this gets obscene. The U.S. Sentencing Commission tracked violent offenders released in 2010 across eight years. 63.8% were rearrested. Median time to rearrest: 16 months. These numbers haven’t moved in two decades. The 2005 cohort and the 2010 cohort produced statistically identical outcomes. Judges aren’t making unpredictable calls. They’re making well-documented bets with other people’s lives, and the base rates have been published and available the entire time. The bartender gets three hours of ambiguous signals. The judge gets the full weight of the federal data apparatus. One of them can go to prison for getting it wrong. The other can’t even be named in a civil suit.

If bartenders can go to jail for over-serving alcohol to someone who then kills another person, judges should go to jail for releasing criminals who do the same.

Seriously. Greeks were occupied on their own land for 400 years, 2nd class citizens, paying the "jizya" tax to their Muslim overlords who frequently stole their children to force convert and turn into soldiers (janissary troops) or brides. This only ended when the Greeks fought like hell to expel them starting in 1821. This should be the first thing they teach in school these days, it even deals with indigenous people fighting off an occupying force. So why isn't this one of the models?

"You would get shot in the neck. I think Charlie Kirk's death was funny." As I was debating transgenderism on the campus of Manchester Metropolitan University, a student mocked the death of Charlie Kirk and suggested that I would be shot. This is an absolute disgrace to any university.

1. The price cap is not a response to the war in Iran. It existed anyway (based on incorrect analysis by the CMA) 2. If you cared about the cost of living you would... (i) lift the drilling ban and cancel the EPL. And create incentives for opening new fields ASAP (ii) call for gas companies and suppliers to import on long term fixed price contracts rather than doing everything on a just in time basis (iii) cancel the RO, AR7 and future renewables auctions until prices are under control (iv) abolish carbon taxes... They serve no purpose and just make energy expensive and industry uncompetitive (v) cut the fuel duty... Half the pump price of petrol is tax. It's greedy profiteering by the government But you won't because you actually care more about your net zero ideology than the cost of living or anything else

𝗝𝗢𝗘 𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗔𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗪𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗔 𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗝𝗘𝗪𝗦 I promise I'm not making this up. Joe Rogan — who has 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 of listeners and considers himself well-informed — was asked by Gad Saad to guess the number of Jewish people in the world. His answer: 𝗮 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻. He then took the "conservative" position: 500 million. The actual answer — which Gad Saad had to deliver like a man defusing a bomb — is 𝟭𝟯 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟱 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻. Total. On the entire planet. Rogan's joking response: 𝘚𝘩𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘪𝘤 𝘰𝘧𝘧. 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘶𝘺'𝘴 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘻𝘺. He was off by a factor of 70. Here's what makes this more than just funny. The Jewish people represent 0.2% of the world's population. 𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁. For every single Jewish person on earth there are 100 Muslims. And yet Jews account for somewhere between 25 and 30 percent of all Nobel Prize winners in history. The most persecuted people in human history. The smallest major religious minority on the planet. And somehow the source of more Nobel laureates, more scientific breakthroughs, more literary giants and more cultural contributions per capita than any group that has ever existed. 𝟭𝟰,𝟮𝟬𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲. That's it. There are more people in metropolitan Tokyo. And this morning in London, someone burned their ambulances. Context matters. Numbers matter. And sometimes the most important thing you can do is just look them up.

Investigations have revealed that Iskandar323, the recently banned editor, who worked to rewrite Jewish history and whitewash the Iranian regime and Hamas, is an English journalist based in the United Arab Emirates. Our eyes are wide open for all others. More to come.

Oh, bravo, BBC. In The Capture, the Corporation has outdone itself: the real villain isn’t the gangs reportedly raping schoolgirls, nor the mandarins quietly massaging migration stats. No, it’s the tiresome Englishman who dares file a Freedom of Information request. Because obviously the next logical step after politely asking for crime figures is child murder. One Excel query and you’re basically Dennis Nilsen with a filing cabinet. And the crowning touch? This furious, Brexit-bothered native son is kitted out in full Bundeswehr chic—olive drab, the lot. Not a single Union Jack in sight. Why bother with British nationalist clichés when you can just slap on modern German military kit and let the historical smear do the work? Subtle as a sledgehammer. So here we are: a licence-fee-funded broadcaster warning us, in glossy primetime drama, that asking the government for facts is basically domestic terrorism with better broadband. Keep those cheques coming, peasants. It’s vital we subsidise the effort to pathologise curiosity itself. Defund the BBC? At this point we should just rename it the Ministry of Approved Narratives and be done with the pretence.

This is insane. The BBC just dropped a propaganda film where an English extremist is sniping a child on an illegal migrant dinghy. 1. There are NO children on the boats 2. There has NEVER been an attack on an illegal migrant, they attack English children
