On December 3rd 2025, President Trump said there was " no problem " with releasing the video, telling reporters, " I don't know what they have, but whatever they have, we'll certainly release no problem ". On December 8th 2025, President Trump backtracked, stating " I didn't say that " when asked about his previous commitment, and labeled the inquiry " ABC fake news ". President Trump lied and it wasn't fake news from ABC. Also supposedly those drug cartel boats without evidence that there were drugs on board, anyways those drug boats weren't going to the United States they were going to Trinidad and Tobago also Dominican Republic and Haiti. Once drugs left the Caribbean transshipment points, they were primarily sent to: Europe, Spain & Portugal, and West Africa. Not the US as President Trump says and also those boats do not save 25,000 American lives that's a little far-fetched when only 90,000 Americans die of overdoses a year on the average.
