@ScotsPostPunk @ColinSphoenix I went to the one man show promoting the ‘Manners from Heaven’ book in London’s West End (1984). Got to meet him afterwards. Utterly charming.

@ColinSphoenix Saw him in his one man show (An Evening with Quentin Crisp, The Naked Civil Servant) at the George Square Theatre in 1978 - very entertaining.

Kleber Mendonça Filho’s ‘The Secret Agent’ is a remarkable film. Set in 1977 Brazil - “A time of great mischief” - it would be worthy of an Oscar as would Wagner Moura as Marcelo. Tânia Maria also excellent. Great pacing and cinematography. The opening scene is a mini masterpiece
