@notgaetti Bill James had him number one and I tend to agree. He was the top 2B in the NL 8 straight years in the 70s. He’s definitely at least top 2 along with Hornsby.

I think Morgan > Sandberg is a mainstream take Morgan was an OBP machine before it was cool, had tremendous power for his size, stole 689 (!!!) bases, was a great defender, and won 2 MVPs and 2 World Series. Forget being ahead of Sandberg; Morgan is perhaps top-2 of all time!!

@uscfan981 If anything, the Chicken Man is underrated. My choice would be Nolan Ryan. He’s a deserving HOFer but so many call him the greatest pitcher of all time and he’s not in the top 10.

This was the greatest team ever, or certainly at least the greatest of my lifetime Bernie Williams won the batting title Lots of fantastic hitters, great elder statesmen in Chili Davis, Tim Raines, and Darryl Strawberry; ace pitching, solid clubhouse guys They were inevitable

So now it’s clear the Ravens dumped the Crosby deal to sign Hendrickson. That’s a seriously unethical franchise. Can’t believe the NFL will let them get away with crap like that.
