Men, masturbating daily is extremely detrimental for your health. It increases prolactin which lowers dopmaine and is linked to hair loss. It makes you into a more social awkward, lower energy, nervous beta male. Transcend and break free.

@DarthNoobSaibot If you are good you don’t get fired. We kept Day after losing to Michigan 4 times in a row because he was good. It’s just the pressure to always be great, especially against Michigan. That’s how all that talk started.

@john_jonez_ I would say OSU is the easiest job to win at. Because of the dominant recruiting, supporters and resources. But I wouldn't call it the best job because you can be good and still get fired.

Tonight’s workout. I know nothing I do will ever satisfy people who hate. That’s fine. For those who genuinely care: I’m okay. I work out regularly, stay on top of my health (my metabolic numbers are normal), and see my doctor every quarter. I’ve faced challenges and gained some weight back, but I’m still lighter and far healthier than when I started. I won’t back down.

I think some of the criticism is a bit over the top. They've added two really good pieces in FA, including the consensus best available Safety. Cook has room to get even better and he's already a very good Safety. Mafe is an ascending player, too. They added a solid 3rd piece in Allen, who, while past his prime, is still productive and will raise the floor for pass rush on the interior. They should have signed Chenal (I don't buy some reports that they weren't that interested in him). FA is not over. There are still contributing pieces that can be added. and I don't buy the reports that they won't add. The contract structures with the higher than necessary yr-1 cap hits are frustrating, but not landing two high quality players like Cook & Mafe would have been even more frustrating. And even with those questionable structures, it would not have precluded them from signing Chenal or an Edge like Ebiketie. They cannot go into the season with #49 & #44 as the starting LBs. Their contract structures don't really have much to do with failing to sign Chenal (regardless of any report of lack of interest). And if that report of no interest in Chenal is true, then the ire should be directed at player personnel not contract structures. Cook & Mafe are two high quality additions, and Allen is a solid add. They need more, though.

With the recent talk of Bengals' FA contract structures, here was a contract structure I proposed for Boye Mafe last Sunday night on the eve of FA. As many who follow me know, I was driving the "sign Mafe" bus since the middle of last season. Always liked his game and think he is an ascending player. My projection was 3yrs/$54M, but it's my proposed structure that I want to highlight. I called it the "Orlando Brown Jr." structure wherein the player gets close to (or above) 50% of the total contract value paid out in yr-1. And that's exactly the type of structure the Bengals utilized with Mafe. Mafe will get 45% ($27M) of the total contract value ($60M) paid out in yr-1. My projection called for nearly the exact same yr-1 Cash Spend as what Mafe's actual yr-1 Cash Spend is in his contract: ▪️$28M in my projection ▪️$27M in Mafe's actual contract The difference (and the cause of much fan angst) is in the yr-1 (2026) Cap Hits: ▪️$11.33M in my projection ▪️$17M in Mafe's actual contract Even adjusting my 3yr/$54M projection to Mafe's actual 3yr/$60M contract would not have impacted the yr-1 Cash Spend or yr-1 Cap Hits You can simply add the $6M difference in my contract protection (3/$54M) from Mafe's actual deal (3/$60M) to the final two years of the deal in several ways: ▪️add $3M each to 2027 & 2028; or ▪️add $4M to 2027 & $2M to 2028; or ▪️add any combination between 2027 & 2028 that adds the $6M difference. So if you take my Mafe projection I posted last Sunday and add $3M Cash & Cap to 2027 and $3M Cash & Cap to 2028, you have the following Cap Hits: ▪️2026: $11.33M ▪️2027: $21.33M ▪️2028: $27.34M If you take my Mafe projection and add $4M Cash & Cap to 2027 and $2M Cash & Cap to 2028, you have the following Cap Hits: ▪️2026: $11.33M ▪️2027: $22.33M ▪️2028: $26.34M The point of all of this is to say that the Bengals utilizing the "Orlando Brown Jr." contract structure (that I predicted would be one of the two contract structures CIN would use to sign Mafe) could have still resulted in a lower yr-1 Cap Hit with the same cash paid out to Mafe. Again, my projected yr-1 Cash Spend was almost exactly on the nose ($28M projection vs. $27M actual). This doesn't even address the Bengals avoiding the use of void years to further drive down the yr-1 Cap Hit. We know the Bengals' aversion to push cap dollars into future years and so my Mafe projection didn't include void years. With the continually rising Cap, however, the "risk" of pushing cap dollars into the future really isn't much of a risk at all. So CIN should be open to using void years, or at the very least, driving down the yr-1 Cap Hit even in the absence of void years. Overall, CIN could have utilized the Orlando Brown Jr. contract structure I predicted and still reduced Mafe's yr-1 Cap Hit to close to or even lower than I projected ($11.33M).
Andre Perrotta@andreperrotta13

And here's another proposed Boye Mafe contract with a different structure based on my 3yr/$54M projection. This would be the, "Orlando Brown Jr. structure" with a massive signing bonus and greater than 50% of the total contract value paid out in Yr-1. With this structure, Mafe would receive 51.85% ($28M) of the total contact value ($54M) in Yr-1, compared to 40.74% in the structure in the Quote Tweet below. Brown Jr. received 52.52% ($33.679M) of the total contract value ($64.092M) in Yr-1. $27.25M Fully Guaranteed, comprised of: ▪️$25M signing bonus ▪️$2.25M 2026 Base Salary $38M Total "effective" Guarantees: ▪️ $10M 2027 compensation effectively GRTD because of large dead money potential due to massive signing bonus. 2026: Cap: $11.33M Cash: $28M 2027: Cap: $18.33M Cash: $10M Running Cash: $38M 2028: Cap: $24.34M Cash: $16M Running Cash: $54M Will be very interested to see how the Bengals structure contacts this week.

People think I’m covering for the team. Wrong! I’m trying to get at the heart of the real issue. You could’ve signed Lloyd. Do NOT assume they didn’t sign Lloyd because of how they structured Mafe and Cook. That almost certainly has nothing to do with it. Were you in on him? If not, why? Did he reject your offer? If so, why? THAT matters. They could’ve had $7m more in cap room is a red herring.
