@ValentinaForUSA @TRobinsonNewEra Valentina Gomez? Sounds spicy. Bloody immigrants, coming over here, refusing to integrate, spreading their false prophecies. No ablo mexicano here, burrita. Probably get put up in a hotel for free. Scroungers, all of them.

@FMScrapbook @laythy29 Yeah, I'm just messing. Can't expect people to learn a language when they're just in for a game. You don't normally put piri piri on a bifana though. Rookie

If you want to take a flag to the match take a flag, support the team as you normally would, they need every bit of help from the fans to turnaround a two goal deficit against PSG. Don’t feel pressured not to by some fella with the face of Jeremy Corbyn tattooed on his arm.

@JacobStahler @spiritofshankly @LFC And nobody wants to receive anything for free, they just want the price to be fair and for their loyalty and support to be acknowledged. The club markets the fans. They should get something back from the club.

@JacobStahler @spiritofshankly @LFC No, the % is clearly not the same. A billionaire giving a guy on 25k per year a 1.5% increase is not the same as that billionaire asking for 1.5% back. That 1.5% is worth more to the underresourced than it is to the billionaire, obviously.

@JacobStahler @spiritofshankly @LFC No the milk carton analogy is not, because that is someone with resources gjving a small amount to someone who needs them. This is jot what is happening here. It is underresourced people being squeezed by billionaires. Your equivalency is false.

@john_l33 @spiritofshankly @LFC No the analogy is a direct reference to what you think is "necessary". Cartons of milk is something you'd want more of. The club is looking at this the same way you look at that. There is a ripple effect to having that additional revenue.

@JacobStahler @spiritofshankly @LFC Your analogy is incorrect. It's more like your boss saying he just needs to reduce your salary a little bit, so little you won't even really notice it, to buy an air freshener for his brand new Ferrari. It's obscene.

@spiritofshankly @LFC What y’all are saying is basically your boss telling you that you don’t need your 1.5% raise because it’ll only buy 2 more cartons of milk. That logic falls apart when you understand scale. If a club buys academy players for £1M, develops them, and sells them 3 years later for

@rebekkarnold @Errol0151 It's hilarious, but it's also a bit mental that anyone could have watched 64 minutes of that game and then predicted us to win. Errol is deffo a glass half full kind of man

@LFC4LIFENET The owners are not irrelevant. They don't take money out, but they are venture capitalists, looking to increase the value of the club. More ticket revenue = more club worth. It's delayed profit, but still profit.

@LFC4LIFENET And you completely ignored my other point about being a leader in fan-first club ownership that would generate more revenue than this ticket increase without alienating the traditional fan base.

@LFC4LIFENET They shouldn't have to. Why do the billionaire owners need it more than the local fans? And who are you to say what local fans can afford? An extra £50 a season could be the straw that breaks the camels back for some.

@LFC4LIFENET Sustainable without local fans? Sounds great. And with just over an extra million per year, or 2 weeks of Mo's salary? Or how about marketing us as the club that does things right? Couldn't that be a USP that would also guarantee sustainability and include our fan base?
