@Shanemartin0 @thomasniblock Would you not think that Westmeath and Down progression has come off the back of winning the Tailteann Cup Shane? So the role of the Tailteann Cup has been a huge success.

@thomasniblock Thomas, is there a question that needs clarifying with the new rules & more teams putting their hands up, like Westmeath & Down should we look at restructuring the Sam Maguire competition & allowing more teams into the final stages? The new rules has opened the doors for all

🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 @ConanDoherty How did you let Dick Clerkin away with comments like that on Michael Murphy. “He’s done well, he’ll win an All Star, but he’s not streets ahead”. What more do you expect from the man all year? Coming out of retirement to win an All Star is unheard of 👏🏽

Crazy to think that of the six Tailteann Cup games played today, there was an average winning margin of 12.5 points. 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 In a competition designed to protect teams from such defeats 😬

@jumbosheerin @RuaidhriOC Yes seeding for groups obviously, but moaning about the way the seeding lands for knock out is just a moany nature.

@john_mc_grath @RuaidhriOC CL has seedings for teams. So did the AI for the group stage this year. So does the football world cup based on rankings. You can make arguments either way alright but personally think if you are using world rankings to seed teams it should happen much closer than 4 years out

Can never be said enough. The draw for this World Cup is an utter disgrace - the best four teams in the world are so superior to the rest it's incredible and they have to play each other next week. It's wrong

@jumbosheerin @RuaidhriOC No matter what is done, hindsight hero’s find a problem. Ireland may be No. 1 but all 4 teams on the other side have better WC records than them. There are arguments for and against all options. Narratives all the time. Is seeding done in All Irelands, Champions League etc?

@john_mc_grath @RuaidhriOC Tbf the draw is seeded based on rankings. The issue is that the rankings used were from the 1st January 2020, nearly 4 years before the actual tournament. England and Wales were in the top 4 and went into pot 1. Using rankings closer to the tournament it would probably be better
