Yeah taxes suck and would be great to reduce them someday. But reducing them now isn’t going to stop the real problem of spending, fraud, and waste. It’s not like Congress is gonna see us cutting taxes and say oh now we have to rein in the spending. It’s just gonna be more debt my generation will have to deal with. Congress has never cared about balancing a budget. They send our money to foreign countries while increasing their net worth through insider trading. They’re the root problem and if anyone should pay, it’s them
