Greenfield isn’t the best tendy in Sheffield.
Grande isn’t the best tendy in Nottingham.
I genuinely think this season has highlighted how over-hyped they both are.

I hate to open up this debate again Average trophies per EIHL season Greenfield - 4 seasons, 3 trophies - 0.75 per season Jason Grande - 2 seasons, 3 trophies - 1.5 per season Grande - 0 trophyless EIHL Seasons MG- 2 maybe 3 So Grande is twice as good. The maths tell you that.

@davidharrywebb @JohnStephe63603 @steelthepuck The CHL was great, but we shit the bed domestically yet again 🤷♂️ Maybe every season is a stretch, admittedly. But over 6 seasons we have 4 trophies. In that time frame Giants have more leagues alone. We were meant to close the gap under Fox, doesn't seem to be happening

Where do we go from here then?
If we go trophy-less, for me, we should shake hands and sadly part ways with Fox. The grandslam was fabulous.
Though if he has a year left on his contract, I can’t see the club doing that. Why would they pay up and hire someone else.

@davidharrywebb @JohnStephe63603 @steelthepuck Because we likely have the biggest budget. Belfast are about to win 5 of the last 6 leagues, on top of a few cups and a playoffs. We went down 3-0 in the first leg of the cup, we threw the league away again losing about 6 in a row and we went 1-5 against the giants...

Plus, we took it to the last day last season and were in the lead at one point.
Knocked out of the cup this season in over time in the semis to a good team. Pretty close really.

@steelthepuck I do genuinely believe that the grand slam set the bar far too high we now believe we win something every year. This year I thought with the players we had we would buy crack started to show when players left in the manner they did.
