🧵 It’s killing me to not be in Milwaukee today as the 1993-94 #mubb team is celebrated. It is my favorite team of any of the teams I grew up cheering for. So many great memories of that team.

I’d love to see KenPom numbers on that team. I don’t think they were all that efficient on offense, but I bet the defensive numbers were among the best in the country.

The team itself was memorable. It was the recruiting class that saved #mubb. Lots of talent on the bench too.

@JoeMcCann3 There were quite a few high profile Big 12 games on ESPN+ last year, if I remember correctly. I think it’s part of the deal with the Big 12 and part of an overall strategy to put some value on subscribing.

Yeah, that’s the thing that has some of us confused. The game was announced as an ESPN+ game over the summer, and it’s still listed that way on both MU & ISU’s sites. But ESPN does not show it as having any TV at all. Makes me wonder if something is being worked out. #mubb
