It has been established that the @officialEFCC unlawfully arrested and detained Martins Vincent Otse aka VDM, as a means to silence him for accusing the agency and its leaders of corruption and malfeasance. The @officialEFCC is currently exploring legal avenues to charge him in court, possibly tomorrow, in an attempt to legitimize their actions. Nevertheless, it is essential to state unequivocally that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission @officialEFCC does not possess the authority to prosecute individuals for criminal defamation, criminal libel, or cybercrime, as these are torts that are typically addressed through civil lawsuits. This young man, VDMumu, claimed that he is not an activist. According to him, he is an online police officer and his mission is to expose online criminals, which is fine and good. However, it is unclear how he was approved for this job and how he was trained for it. He made himself the fourth arm of the Nigerian government. He travels without interruption throughout Nigeria. He reports, records, and abuses people in government, but nothing is happening. He has the phone numbers of top government officials which Nigerians with good integrity don't have. He parades himself as the president of a new cult group called Ratel. And the government is not seeing the danger ahead. Reasonable Nigerians are keeping an eye on things. I congratulate him and his team on their remarkable manipulative performance, which was a great success.
