The families suing the IVF clinics signed contracts that agreed to the eventual destruction of the embryos, so how can it be a wrongful death when the embryos were then destroyed? slate.com/news-and-polit… via @slate

This really just happened. Trump went to Philadelphia to try and sell his new "Trump Sneakers" at Sneaker Con. In the process he got booed, as heard in the video below. Yeah, you’ve got that right. Freshly off of being held liable for fraud, and after having arguably failed at Trump Vodka, Trump University, Trump Steaks and Trump water, he is now trying to grift his base by selling them $399 sneakers. Will anyone really buy them?

@TiffMoodNukes JIST IN: “Satire” works better when you cite things that could be true. Obama can’t run again AND, even if he could, it would be his THIRD term (barred by the Constitution!), not his fourth.

This IS satire. Because Joe Biden is senile ASF and wouldn’t know whether to drop out and endorse Obama for a 4th term ‘cause Obama’s the asshole that’s really destroying America. Got it, you liberal trolling fucks

@johnculhane @FredWMeyer666 @DubaiAG My take, he came into a crowded place, the fans already had made their choices, he was never going to win them over and that hurt him early on, but, he found that being the antagonist lit a flame under him and gave him the edge he needed, so he embraced the "heel" role

@johnculhane @FredWMeyer666 @DubaiAG Not arguing with that, Nole is not out there to win hearts, he's out there to be the best that ever was, which he already is, and his fans follow him for that, the same as Fedal fans follow them for what they are Nole does not care for popularity contests

@Nevres1 @FredWMeyer666 @DubaiAG Not really. He’s the favorite of far fewer fans than Nadal and especially Federer. That’s just not debatable. Fed won the fan favorite award for about a zillion years running.

I'm interrupting my 2-month Twitter hiatus b/c I've just found a highly relevant speech from the Ratification debates (1788): Against Presidential Immunity & Unitary Executive theory (interpreting the Opinions Clause). Future SCOTUS Justice Iredell, NC Convention, 7/28/1788:

Sad to hear that my great idea for marketing of Shingles vaccinations fell through. "All the Shingle ladies" would have been a great success.

@mattsgoodtweets @GovernorShapiro So say you. I think you’re just looking for a reason to yell “Woke!” So that even when a decision comports with your view, you search for something else.

My team has been in contact with the Biden Administration throughout the day to correct this decision. I’m pleased Welcome Park will remain the rightful home of this William Penn statue — right here in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Penn founded.

The review of the new design proposal for Welcome Park has been withdrawn. No changes to the William Penn statue are planned. For more info, please visit: nps.gov/inde/learn/new….

@GovernorShapiro Now ask yourself why this decision was made to begin with, and what led to it. Toxic ideology within your party.

For better or worse, this process of ambiguity, argument, and battle before a nine-member court constituted through political means is how we decide big questions.

And yet no such clarity seems remotely possible. Despite many game attempts to work out the right answer (including by courts in several states now), there is deep disagreement and confusion. This isn’t unusual or aberrant. It is characteristic of high profile con law cases!
