@CharlotteZ1111 Having watched him closely in opposition, particularly during Covid, I suspect he will end up as one of the most reviled Prime Ministers in the last 100 years.

Europe's worst airport?
I loathe Paris CDG, though some like it.
Munich can be an ordeal.
Bordeaux picks up votes for its spartan low-cost terminal.
Yet in our tens of millions, we judge the rewards at the end of the journey justify the airport experience.

@wesstreeting Young people need to be educated from an early age how to use social media.
I say this after seeing your posts on this platform when you were not so young.

Listicles are the wrong type of content to create if you want to be cited by LLMs.
Sure, that's what marketers are focusing on right now, but many platforms, like Google, are also starting to combat the "listicle spam" we are seeing.
When we asked 500 marketers what types of content would perform best in the long run, listicles ranked number 3.
Original research ranked 1.

@TruthSentinel1 @afneil Murrell bought a campervan, iPads, Kindles, a PlayStation 3, four Nintendo 3DS handheld consoles, PS4 games an Xbox One console and a Nintendo Switch.
And you thought you would ask your AI — (always a give away) to post a reply about an entirely different matter.
English

Strange. I searched your X account and can’t seem to find you publicly condemning Boris Johnson’s £800,000 loan arrangement scandal involving Richard Sharp — a major Conservative donor who later became BBC chairman.
Sharp was found to have breached public appointments rules by failing to disclose his role in facilitating contact over the loan guarantee before his appointment, and eventually resigned. Cross-party MPs described it as a ‘significant error of judgement’.
Any sane person would recognise that political patronage and undisclosed financial connections involving the chairmanship of the national broadcaster are far more damaging to public trust than most of the outrage you spend your time amplifying online.
English

Despite the reams of coverage of the Murrell/Sturgeon scandal in today’s papers I still see no explanation of the camper van. Why did Murrell buy it and what did he plan to do with it? Did he park it on his mother’s driveway because he didn’t want his wife to know about it? Did he ever use it? I’m aware of all the rumours about him but have seen nothing to give them veracity. The whole camper van business is not just hilarious — but strange. A friend who knows him claims it was to be a mobile bedroom. Of course he has no evidence (other than the fact that, by definition, a camper van is a mobile bedroom). The mystery remains.
English

@afneil He bought a campervan, iPads, Kindles, a PlayStation 3, four Nintendo 3DS handheld consoles, PS4 games an Xbox One console and a Nintendo Switch.
It certainly is a mystery.

@RichardLyon_ @williamnhutton Clearly not reading any geology books by the fire.
English

@williamnhutton Where is Will Hutton when 26,000 vulnerable people die from cold on a British winter as we emerge from the last ice age?
At home by a warm fire polishing his sense of virtue and his luxury beliefs.

After a day like this, only fools think burning fossil fuels for any longer than is necessary makes sense. The much derided Ed Miliband is right: his critics ultimately enemies of life on earth. news.sky.com/story/weather-…

@valderee53 @ed_hawkins Climate change was a contributing factor to the fall of the Roman Empire, it went from warm and wet to cool and dry.
English

@ed_hawkins Wonder what the hippos in the Leeds area were using 200000 years ago? Or the Romans 2000 years ago?

@asaio87 For this WordPress site: powerboat.news
I installed a GeneratePress theme and connected Claude via MCP.
The AI then coded the design.

@_CallumAnderson @England When I saw “Just incredible” I thought my MP was going to post about local maters as opposed to trying to get to 7,000 followers on X.

Just incredible.
Another 10 or so for @England at the World Cup please!

An astonishing season for Harry Kane 🙌 He's scored two more goals for Bayern Munich in tonight's German DFB Pokal Final! ⚽⚽

@LucyJMcDaid I'm an Arsenal fan and will watch the game in my local pub.
Don't give the bloke airtime.
English

The shift that actually matters: models to systems.
A model is your marketer opening ChatGPT to write a post. A system is when that post gets tracked and the data shapes the next one automatically.
Most teams are doing the first and calling it the second.

@RobHarris I am so bored of socialists.
If you can't afford it, go down the pub and buy a soft drink.

@Keir_Starmer I would like to comment, but don't fancy going to prison.

Football should bring people together, not shut them out.
For the first time since the competition began, fans won’t be able to watch the Champions League final for free. That’s not right.
This is bigger than wanting to watch Arsenal in this historic final. It’s bigger than one club.
Hardworking people shouldn’t have to fork out for a subscription to watch this match.
I urge TNT Sports to reconsider and make the final next Saturday free to watch.

🗣️| Mikel Arteta: “After the Burnley game when we won, Martin Odegaard came to me and said, 'Boss, we want to watch the (Bournemouth v City) game tomorrow and we would like you and the staff to be there'. Okay, if that's what you want, I will be there.
“So we trained a bit later. We finished at around 6:30, 7:00, and I went upstairs and I saw the set-up and I say, 'I can't do this'.
“I think the boys deserved the moment and my energy, my mood, I don't think is going to allow them to live the game in the manner they deserve.
“I went downstairs to Martin. I said, 'Martin, I'm really sorry, but I go home - if the magic happens, I will see you after'. And I went home, I drove, there was already 20 minutes of the game gone.
“My kids and my wife were watching the game in the living room. I say good night, I just close the door and I went straight outside and I started to build some fire, build the BBQ.
“And it was the longest hour and a half of my life, until the magic happened. My eldest son opened the garden room and started to cry and came to me and said, 'Daddy, we are champions'. And I did get emotional.
“And then my other two kids came straight after him and my wife and we all hug each other, and it was beautiful.
“A minute later, I got a call from Martin and a video, passing me to all the players, saying, 'Where are you, where are you?'
“I said, 'Don't worry, organise something and I will be with you in the evening'.” [@footballontnt] #afc

She may well be a fool, but your opening sentence makes you sound a little angry.
I was taught at school that we always should question the science.
Well done for reaching 66 and having a child!
Keep cool over the next few days, its going to be proper hot, but next Tuesday, back to a usual British summer.
English

@beverleyturner You are a fool. Are you really questioning the science now. There is so much evidence of global heating and water shortage. It is people like you who have fed and encouraged lies. I am glad I am 66, but I fear for my 29 yr old son. Kids in 50 years, no future. We spent it
English

Why did the UK let this happen?....
Because we were told we had to save the planet.
Who told us that?
Did they have vested financial or power interests?
Was their science unequivocal?
Was there a rigorous cost=benefit analysis?
Was dissent suppressed?
These are the key questions as we break the bank trying to pay our household bills.
Free Speech Shell@FreespeechShell
JD Vance talking about how middle class Brits can't afford to heat their homes or travel to work. Yes it's true! And the American government knows we are being taken for absolute mugs. Why are we all letting this happen?

@RhonddaBryant @joeandseph I find this embarrassing.
I voted to leave the European Union, but I never believed the benefits would have included this garbage.
