Why would we want to "send a clear message to the Unionist parties"? They are not the ones obstructing restoration of Scotland's independence. The main obstacle is the SNP. The people who want to send a message to Unionist parties seem to suppose it is those parties we must look to for the restoration of our independence. I was never as stupid as that. @SophiaPangloss I’m finding the entire fight to reclaim Scottish independence increasingly frustrating. I’ll never give up fighting for it but I find myself shaking my head in disbelief more so with every year that passes. The UK has been in a mess for years, it should be far easier than this.

They’ve cost Scotland its independence for over a decade of unprecedented opportunity while building their own bank balances and pension pots.

In September 2022, Von der Leyen argued that Russia is taking semiconductors from dishwashers to keep its military going. Our media consistently repeats these lies about a collapsing Russia and a victorious Ukraine, which are intended to sound like supportive and pro-Ukrainian statements. It is the exact opposite. By exaggerating Russian weakness and Ukrainian strength, these people are selling a long war that will predictably destroy Ukraine. These people smear anyone arguing that Russia has legitimate security concerns that can be resolved by ending NATO expansionism, which is also intended to sound like support for Ukraine. It is the exact opposite. By claiming that recognition of Russian security concerns is an effort to "legitimise" the invasion or claiming that diplomacy "rewards" Putin, these people make a diplomatic solution impossible and thus sell a long war that destroys Ukraine. These people demand that all comments and analyses about the war must solely condemn Russia, which sounds supportive. Yet, the simplistic portrayal of a struggle between an aggressor and a victim is then used to argue that the aggressor cannot be rewarded in any settlement. These manipulative warmongers may dress up in the colours of Ukraine and Europe, but they are destroying both.
