Davido shouldn't have sampled Brenda Fassie's "Vulindlela" in his new song "Funds", that's no way to pay respect to a legend (RIP); Vulindlela holds great importance especially to those who grew up listening to the song, & it is also a cultural reset. That said, Davido did nothing exceptional in his verse, just easy rhymes, & Odumodu needs to start switching it up, he lacks versatility plus his verse was off theme. Chike on the other hand did a good job, not the best of verses, but his was more meaningful. In addition to this, the song needed a better chorus. Hopefully other tracks off the unreleased album (5ive) are worth the wait. The collab is a 3/10 at best. No offense.
