Im gonna call it now, if Howe is here next season this will be our lineup on the 1st day of the season, I’m expecting 3/4 signings, a GK, versatile fullback, CM & LW, they’ll probably be young players & we’ll barely see them kick a ball for months unless injuries occur, #NUFC

Every one on Howes back just need to look at West Ham. Twice they have sacked Moyes because they thought he wasn’t the guy to take them to the next level. And they end up at the next level just not one they believed they deserved #nufc

@lamecknsubuga I’ll be honest I’m not even sure if I trust Hopkinson & Wilson now, they had a chance to take us into a new era but have decided to stick which I can only see us regressing again next season

@johnnyarm1982 Trust me I don't care whether it looks good or bad on Howe. The reality is they have messed up our club, players have betrayed us, the whole structure fallen to pieces and there is no one person to blame. It's typical Newcastle United.

@lamecknsubuga No I agree with that for definite & I want change from top too bottom, but that change doesn’t happen with Howe in charge, we can change everything around him but the results will be the same But the point is Mitchell wanted change & Howe fought against that change

@Toontoon089 @Doddsy228904442 Yes they’re both pressing styles without the ball but ours was based on counter attacking football there’s was more of a controlled wave after wave of attack, teams always setup in low blocks against klopp teams where ours was built on using space in behind the defenders

If we can get anywhere near £40 million for Barnes I’d be taking it 100%. Lacks so so much creativity, struggles to go 1v1 against defenders and turns 29 in December. Replace Gordon and Barnes with 2 of Nusa/Pardo/El Mala and we’d be cooking 🔥no time for sentiment anymore #nufc

@NUFC___NEWS He doesn’t lack creativity 😂😂😂 he’s arguably the best finisher and the most intelligent of our wingers in and around the box. The problem in our system this year and against possession based teams is that he gets on the ball in our half too often and doesn’t carry the ball.

@johnnyarm1982 Did I say he wasnt? But at that time if he said that it was working and even went on to win a cup and get CL it absolutely needs to change long term and this summer will see how it goes on that front regarding abit more risky etc
